In The Closet: Debating Deyn

Here struts, barely, model Agyness Deyn at Fashion Week, and she is making us quite ambivalent as to where to place her in our bitchy little closet, front or back? Most runway insiders would agree Agy is the next big supermodel. Naomi Campbell wouldn’t, but who cares what she thinks, she slaps people faster than certain zealously religious folk do with lawsuits.

Yep, the Bitch of Them All said A.D. has a lot to prove before she gets to add that super prefix like Kate Moss. And Campbell herself, of course.

That’s why we’re so torn about this girls ‘fit. We absolutely hate it. It is a nonchic biker ensemble on bottom, and the chain up top hangs way too awkwardly. Plus, that awful purse is too shiny and big—it seriously weighs more than she does. But then again, it is refreshing to see someone with such a unique style in the often-predictable modeling biz.

It’s time for a break from the blah McModels, who only have being too thin going for them. If only Deyn would do something about that haircut, too. It’s exactly what would happen if Willy Wonka dipped into peroxide instead of chocolate. Model or not, that mane has gotta go.
