After some consideration when looking at one of America's most hated couples (apparently), we feel the need to get into the holiday spirit and give LeAnn Rimes a break.

Do we think the future Mrs. Eddie Cibrian should watch her comments to the press sometimes, yes, but let's be real—it takes two to tango and get divorced. Somehow the guy always comes out of this stuff clean (just look at Brad Pitt), which is so not fair.

So we'll lay off. And in the spirit of all things festive as the holidays approach, here's what L and E have planned, in case you're dying to know...and it starts off with a sit-down between LeAnn and Eddie's ex:

A source tells E! News that Brandi Glanville and the country singer are still on for their much hyped chat.

"They're meeting next Thursday," says the insider.

Rimes and Glanville have a pretty rocky past, including Glanville accusing Rimes of being a "stalker" and Rimes accusing Glanville of slander. This will be the first time the two women have had a discussion face to face.

It's probably good to hash things out, especially since LeAnn told reporters at the CMAs she will basically be playing the role of step-mom for Christmas.

"[Eddie's] going to introduce me to the kid tradition," Rimes told reporters. "I've never had two kids running around Christmas morning. It's exciting!

"I'm still one of those kids that wake's up at 5:30 in the morning," continued LeAnn. "I will probably be up before them. I usually am anyways. I get coffee ready, I get breakfast ready, and then I'm ready to go. It's fun to have kids around! It's completely different.

"Christmas, we're going to be at our home with all of our family coming to us," Rimes gushed.

As for Thanksgiving, it will be a joint Cibrian-Rimes experience.

"We'll be with Eddie's parents and my parents at my parent's house in Dallas," adding they'll go to the Cowboys game.

Hate to say it, but that all sounds just so...nice. What do you think?
