Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen got together Sunday night in New York City to take their two daughters to see a performance of Mary Poppins at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

Jeez, remember the days when it was a race to blab something defamatory about the other to the press?

Well, seems like David Arquette and Courteney Cox aren't the only pair of exes that are staying close...

"It was just the four of them," a source tells E! News about the reunited family. "Charlie and Denise were really friendly together, and their girls were having a wonderful time."

The family attended the evening performance of Poppins and left immediately once the show was over, despite being invited backstage to meet the cast.

"The girls were a little tired," adds the source of Sheen and Richards' daughters, Sam, 6, and Lola, 5. "The show didn't get out until after 9 p.m."

Sunday, Richards tweeted: "Great day with the girls and ended with seeing Mary Poppins!! The girls are loving NY!"

This isn't the first time C and D have been friendly since separating.

Remember, it was Denise who first reached out to Sheen after the Christmas incident with Brooke Mueller, offering to watch their two twins while they sorted everything out—legally and relationship-wise. Very cool.

And speaking of Brooke, we're told by some West Hollywood folks that she was spotted out with a mystery man this last weekend! Moving on perhaps? Hmmm, wonder if Charlie and Denise would ever consider reuniting? A very happy mom also living it up was...

Bethenny Frankel, having lunch yesterday at M Café in Beverly Hills, with her infant daughter, Brynn, and her hubby, Jason Hoppy, in tow.

"She came in and knew exactly what to order: a chocolate pudding and a green lemonade," a source tells E! of the former Real Housewife. "She was excited to be back in Los Angeles and was telling staff that she wished there was an M Café in New York City."

Bethenny, a natural-food chef, was also overheard talking about how much she enjoys the café's macrobiotic menu.

The reality TV star was dressed casually in jeans, a long sweater, no makeup and was sans her usual camera crew...until she stepped out after lunch to tape a segment for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, natch. Less noticed a few tables over...

Jamie King was also seen having a spot of lunch. The one-time superhot actress, wearing a white-knit top and black capris, arrived solo but sat and talked to fellow customers after she ordered a salmon salad and Green Day fresh juice.
