Perez Hilton has vowed to stop Internet bullying celebs.

The blogger went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today and said the recent suicide epidemic has given him a change of heart about his way of gossiping.

"A lot of people have called me a hypocrite and a bully myself," Perez told Ellen. "From now on, I really want to be part of the solution and not part of the problem."

Oh, do tell...

"I'm not going to sanitize what I do," Perez explained, saying that, for example, he will no longer call Jennifer Aniston "Maniston."

Hmm.

Why is this all reminding me of when Isaiah Washington told me he did not call T.R. Knight the ef word, thereby re-using the insult in the denial?

"I still want to be me, and be me, and be sassy, without being vanilla—and also without being malicious and hurtful and nasty," Perez continued.

Interesting coming from a guy who posted naked photos of Dustin Lance Black on his website, as well as boasting how he was the one who first outted Lance Bass.

Do you really believe the self professed Queen of All Media is going to tone down his harshness—or tell his team of minions who actually do the blogging to tone down their harshness? Not sure we're sold.

Are you?
