The Twilight babe was sitting at a table with a few friends, and the typical guy magnet was not taking advantage of the many men gawking. Instead, she was deep in convo with one gentleman in particular, and it wasn't Xavier Samuel, who was a few tables away...
"Ashley was chatting with an older man for practically the entire night," says a fellow dancin' source. "It didn't look overly romantic, though. She was really low-key and chill, but definitely had this mystery guy's attention for the night."

A few tables over, her Eclipse costar Xavier Samuel was also hanging out at the downstairs club.
"The two of them said hello but then didn't interact the rest of the night," adds our source.
Meanwhile a guy not exactly so low-key in NYC was Entourage cutie Adrian Grenier, spotted on the Lower East Side looking "pretty wasted" at The Bowery hotel.
Even though a source tells us Adrian looked darn cute, he was striking out with the ladies.
"He was chatting up this gorgeous brunette for a while near the bar, and he really wanted her number, but had no success," spills an onlooker.
Also at New York's latest hot hang: Samantha Ronson (sans Lohan), Nicky Hilton, Jessica Lowndes, Oliver Stone, Michelle Rodriguez, and Russell Simmons (fully making out with his flavor-of-the-month new gal).
