Is Kristen Stewart Afraid Fans Will Assassinate Her?

Eclipse star reaffirms her discomfort with fame, sorta

Another day, another Kristen Stewart quote that gets people talking.

Stewart supposedly told Britain's Hello! magazine she worries about her loyal fans dangerously turning on her.

"I don't feel very comfortable on the red carpet," Kristen said. "I look out there at a thousand people and I realize they could rush me and assassinate me. No security could protect me. Ostensibly they're fans, but I think about them turning on me."

Um, after almost getting her eye poked out by a sharpie at the Eclipse premiere can you really blame the girl?

A few fans have obviously gotten defensive about the comment, which takes us back to Kristen's granted interview with Entertainment Weekly where she said she thinks a lot of people have a "sweet! Let's get her!" mentality when it comes to nitpicking her interviews. Couldn't have agreed more with K.S. when she told Robert Pattinson he can say "so much more" than her without getting crucified.

For what it's worth, we hear K.Stew did not do an interview with Hello!, rather as some overseas E! readers pointed out, the quotes seem to be a mix from People and other magazines over there. Still doesn't mean they weren't said in some context, we just don't see the big deal?

Here's hoping now that Kristen's whirlwind press tour is over she can relax before she starts prepping for On the Road this month.
