James Franco was spotted yesterday off of Santa Monica Boulevard near where the Gay Pride Parade was taking place in the heart of boys town, West Hollywood.
Franco, in a black jacket and a San Francisco Giants hat was in a "good, almost giddy mood" pride celebrators tell us, as he hung out with some pals at one of the parties.
So why was J.F. making a cameo at the drag infested festival?
He was there with queer performer Kalup Linzy, whom he is collaborating with on General Hospital. At least, we think that's what we gather from the clip above where someone found James and asked him what he was doing there (it's a tad ramble-esque).
We were hardly surprised to hear Franco was out and about in WeHo yesterday though. James is definitely a friend of the gays, and after playing gay in two roles (Howl and Milk) we're sure he gets why days like yesterday are important.
Remember, the outspoken actor told us at Sundance how appalled he was with the latest Prop 8 ruling, so we think it's cool J.F. came out to support his boys yesterday. Also out this weekend partying for a good cause (in a tad more straight way) was Entourage stud...
Adrian Grenier, who hit up Billabong's fourth Annual Design for Humanity Benefit Friday night at the Paramount Studios lot.
Grenier, looking totally scrumptious in a black jacket, gray tee, jeans and rocking his shorter ‘do, enjoyed watching performances by bands like Fischerspooner and Kid Sister out in the New York street back lot. There were plenty of drunk gals leering at the stud, and while we're sure he enjoyed it, we hear he left the party solo
Another familiar face at Billabong's shindig was AnnaLynne McCord, but we're assuming she went to bed early considering her early day Saturday. But more on that tomorrow!
