Nikki Reed Has a New Twi BFF—Is it R.Pattz?

The most hysterical clip from the New Moon junket this past weekend had what appeared to be Nikki Reed cozying within inches of her onetime "hookup" guy, Robert Pattinson. (Check the pop-up label IDs on that video.)
Only problem is, that wasn't Nikki. It was an E! talent who's not exactly shy with the dudes she meets in this pretty-boy town. Who could it be? Catt Sadler? Giuliana? That tall drink of man-eating water Ashlan Gorse?
Find out that and just who Nikki's been sinking her pretty little claws into, as of the past few minutes:
It's our very own Taryn Ryder, who'd had, just seconds before, a run-in with R.Pattz outside the bathroom of the Four Seasons! They were both headed for the press conference, and Taryn shamelessly showed pity for Mr. P, saying, "I don't know how you do it in there."
"Yeah, I'm barely hanging in there. Are you going to be one of the reporters in there?"
Agent Ryder replied, "Yeah, but I'll go pretty easy on you," to which the obviously charmed Pattinson (sorry, Kristen, he's allowed to smile, at least, at another girl, right?) sassed, "I'll hold you to that."
Oh, and R.Pattz smelled divine, by the by, thought you all should know. Hair exquisitely bed-ready, too.
As for fierce-haired Nikki, the most interesting thing about this be-yotch over the big weekend was her latest BFF. Gone, of course, are the days of too-tight hugs with fellow castmembers Pattinson and Stewart. Now she's all about one of the actors of a diff generation, and no, we're not talkin' Dakota Fanning. Think opposite in the age arena.
It's Elizabeth Reaser, who plays Nik's mom in New Moon. We had actually heard the two were pretty tight lately, and the brunettes couldn't have been more in each other's cuddles at the Four Seasons. Reaser even went as far as to publicly butt-kiss Reed, telling reporters she found Nikki to be the most "maternal" of all the Twilight performers.
Yeah, maybe in a world where moms eat their young.
