Nikki Reed: "Rob and I Were Never Together"

The L.A. premiere of New Moon is a little more than a month away, which means Twilight is going to be more overexposed than usual. That's good and bad news for you A.T. readers out there, depending on your stance on Robsten.

Seventeen magazine posted some great Twilight cast bites, our favorite belonging to Nikki Reed, natch (although Robert Pattinson had some great quotes), where Nik attempted and set the record straight about all those Rob rumors:

"I can't win," dishes Reed. "A few weeks ago I was at this event, and they said, 'You missed Rob's birthday, how do you feel?' And I said, 'I called him, it's fine.' And they wrote, 'She's clearly bitter over the breakup.' I'm like, what breakup? Rob and I were never together."

Crap, could this be the piece she's referring to?

Look, we were the ones who said Rob and Nikki were never dating! Kristen Stewart has been Rob's pick all along, ya dig? But something awkward happened with Rob, Kristen, and Nikki...take it from someone who knows a thing about girl drama and love triangles.

One day Kristen and Nikki are such besties they're vacationing and shacking up together, then enter Robsten shenanigans, and Nikki's Rob-gushing comes to a halt, along with her constantly being at K.Stew's side.

Bitterness over being turned down by Rob? Mad because her BFF went after a guy she was crushing on? Fuming because R.Pattz just didn't want more than her hot bod? Who really knows...the possibilities are endless.

Trust us on this, though—Nikki could care less now.

She has a billion or more reasons to be perfectly content with her relationship with Paris Latsis. She's hardly crying over not being the object of Pattinson's affections.

And best of all, Nik can take a hand-in-hand stroll in public with her man, while Rob and Kristen are confined to their hotel rooms. So who's laughing now?

Either way, pretty sure we know which side Team Awful would rather be on.
