Alexander Skarsgard is just as sexy, but not as scary in person

Alexander Skarsgård, aka the Robert Pattinson of True Blood, was quite the fan hit at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend.

Dressed all in black, the Swedish hunk was seen mingling with fans in the lobby of the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego before making his way up to Float for the Wrath of Con party Friday night.

Instead of walking the red carpet, A.S. took the time to pose for pictures and sign autographs (but no biting) with eager True Blood addicts outside.

Such a gent, we love this guy. One lucky gal tells us that Alexander is "10 times better-looking in real life," and has the same "tall and commanding presence" as Eric, his character on the show.

We totally see the swoon appeal of this foreign import. A tad unlike...

Milo Ventimiglia of Heroes, aka Hayden Panettiere's leftovers, looking a bit scrawny for our taste at the same Wrath of Con party. Milo still looked sexy, just in a skinny way, as he mingled on the rooftop of the H.R. Hotel. Milo chatted up a few cute girls, but definitely kept his gentlemen manner at a high.

Another shocking Comic-Con favorite was...

Chris Daughtry, whose band Daughtry provided the tunes for the Wrath do. The surprising thing about that was that the Idol alum's band was No. 1 this week, beating out Michael Jackson—who has totally been dominating the chart since his death last month. Who knew people even listened to Chris Daughtry? Not us.

Another interesting favorite at the nerd convention was...

Tim Burton, the hot, bizarro commodity, partying at Float on Thursday night. Despite his out-of-this world hair (maybe because of?) and his baby mama, Helena Bonham Carter, girls still eagerly vied for this dude's attention.

Trying to get one step closer to Johnny Depp maybe? Or just some of the thousands of wannabe actresses who trek down to San Diego every year?

In any case, we don't think it was Tim's stunning features that attracted these babes. Even though we totally dig his crazyass personality.

Tim enjoyed the attention without crossing a line. He sat back at his rooftop table and obliged some of the awkward-looking girls before hitting the road solo.
