First, digest the fact that Gossip girl Taylor Momsen attended the New York premiere of The Stepfather in this '80s goth-rocker number. Then remember that she was born in 1993.
It's difficult to get past the fact that this chick was only 10 when things like Kid Rock and energy drinks were becoming popular.
So sure, TayMo could be scuttling around Hollywood in low-rise jeans and tube tops, but somehow this Madonna-circa-1986 look—with the lace, the leather, and the glimmering cross—is what feels tacky, you know?
Like, wash off some of that banshee liner, girl! Before you know it you'll be 30 and sad you never embraced the exciting trends of the Millennial Era.
So slap on some Uggs and a cutoff skirt or something! If you're going to dress poorly, at least do it in this decade.

Is Gossip Girl Paving the Way for TV Threesomes?

What's a desperate show to do when it's getting less-than-stellar ratings? Add tons of attention-grabbing crap into the mix to make you watch, of course!
Gossip Girl is only in its third season, but it's slowly but surely jumping the proverbial shark. First, by tapping Lady Gaga to appear on the CW drama as herself ('cause celeb cameos always blend in so well with the storyline), and now announcing there's gonna be a threesome on the show involving three main castmembers.
Hey, we're not ones to look a gift threesome in the mouth—we just won't approve till we know which three characters it's gonna be. Chace Crawford would bland up any sex scene, and Taylor Momsen is still too underage to think about in sexual scenarios. But Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick and guest star Hilary Duff doin' the nasty? No complaints here!
In fact, we can think of another ménage à trois we'd love to see on our TV sets...

Taylor Momsen may not like wearing pants, but she is a fan of plaid.
And so is Shakira.
Both celebs recently rocked this plaid tunic to red carpet events.
While Shakira kept her lady parts covered and avoided any Britney-esque photo ops with black tights, Tay opted for a more risqué look.

Since no one appreciated Miley Cyrus' Teen Choice Awards pole dance, she decided to play it cool at VH1's Divas Live and just wear a backless Dsquared2 gown pulled up to her navel.
Oh, and fishnets to demonstrate what a grown-up lady she's becoming.
You know Miley, she's all about subtle.
However, in the "most inappropriately dressed" competition all young Hollywood girls seem to be participating in, Miley is far from the biggest offender.

Who needs pants?!
Certainly not Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen, who's been spotted around New York City over the past few weeks wearing crotch-skimming hemlines, garter belts and a scowl. Needless to say, the 16-year-old's risqué apparel has left the press, parents and fans in a bit of an uproar.
The starlet thinks they need to get over it.
"I don't care," she told E! News exclusively backstage at the G-Star Raw fashion show Tuesday night. "I think if everyone's going to be so upset about what I'm wearing, I'm like, well, maybe you should look at your life a little more. I don't know why you're so obsessed with mine."
To her, it's all about art.

Taylor Momsen must really want to hang out with Robert Pattinson.
"I'm a vampire, I decided," the 15-year-old Gossip Girl star and Pretty Reckless frontwoman told MTV.com.
Arguably, this is not a decision she really gets to make on her own, but at least it explains her dark and twisty fashion sense, right?
