Hollywood Hints to Help You Shop Like a Star
We know you were all up at 6 a.m. on Black Friday scoring deals at Tar-zhay, but don't think it's over. Oh no, no, no.
The holiday shopping season is a retail that grows in the telling. Yeah, you've got a whole month to finish your shopping, but remember, you're competing against stars like Blake Lively and Penn Badgley when you hit the shops.
To help you out, we've gathered plenty of primo products and Tinseltown buys to help you shop like a star this year in our Hollywood Holiday Gift Guide. You're welcome!
What's Michael Jackson Got in the Bag?
Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, stopped at a Robertson Boulevard boutique to shop, but for what?
Put your guesses below!
And if you want to know where else Jacko spent his day, read on...
Jonah Hill Continues to Be Superbad
Think Spicy Black Bean Chips and Two-Buck Chuck wine are the only great finds at Trader Joe's grocery store?
Perhaps not. Funnyguy Jonah Hill gets some McLovin in the parking lot at a L.A.-area T.J.'s and earns himself a place in our hearts...and our Summer Lovin' gallery.
Steve-O, Bodyguard Sued for Boutique Bopping
Maybe working for Steve-O has made his bodyguard forget that most people don't enjoy the occasional blow to the head.
A former security guard has sued the Jackass daredevil and his muscle, Reggie Pace, for assault and battery, claiming Pace punched him when he refused to let their entourage into a West Hollywood boutique last summer.
"It's all about getting justice," Joseph Barrett, attorney for the plaintiff, Roland Cano, said in a statement Thursday. "Steve-O may believe he is someone special who can make his own rules, but he will learn that the same rules apply to him. He can't hide behind his friend in this fight."
Courtney Love Carted Away
The Hole enchilada hurt her foot while in Malibu, and rather than do something lame like hobble home or call for an ambulance, she lit up a smoke while this fast-thinking fella hit the express lane to get her home.
Don't laugh. We hear several HMOs are considering this "shop after you drop" approach to medicine.
And it got us thinking: Which celebs would you add to your shopping list if you could? (10 items or less only!)
Audrina and Lo Take Time to Bond, Shop
The Hills rolled through trendy Fred Segal today, proving retail therapy can make gal-pals out of anyone. Even Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth, whom we last saw at odds for Lauren Conrad's good favor on the show.
Kardashian Clan Ordered to Court
The family that shops together swears to tell the truth together.
A judge set a Feb. 17, 2009, trial date in the lawsuit brought by Sonja Norwood, mother of R&B star Brandy, against sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and their brother Robert Jr.
She has accused the well-to-do sibs of racking up more than $120,000 in unauthorized charges on her credit card in 2006 and 2007, when Kim was working as Brandy's stylist and dating the singer's brother Ray J.
The Kardashians have denied, "generally and specifically," every allegation in Norwood's suit, saying they had the woman's permission to shop spree-style. Norwood is seeking complete compensation for the charges, plus 10 percent interest.
A final status conference has also been set for Feb. 11. After that...it's trial time.
Tom & Katie's Petit Bone to Pick
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have probably developed pretty thick skins over the past couple years. But there's still a big soft spot when it comes to Suri.
The couple's attorney sent a cease-and-desist threat to the owner of Petit Tresor, a top-of-the-line baby boutique with two L.A. locations, for allegedly feeding the tabloids bogus info about TomKat's spending habits.
In his letter to owner Samantha Winch, dated May 12, legal eagle Aaron J. Moss accuses store reps of both violating their clients' privacy and passing along "simply false" details—namely, that Holmes and Cruise dropped between $350,000 and $400,000 in their stores—to Life & Style magazine "for the purpose of enhancing [the store's] image and obtaining a commercial advantage."
Other gossip rags have been told about purchases and visits that were never made to Petit Tresor, as well, Moss alleges.
Meanwhile, the outfit's public relations spokesman Andy Behrman wrote in an email to E! News that they were asked by a reporter for an estimation of how much the Cruises have spent on gear for Suri, but they "never mentioned that this $350-$400K figure included anything purchased at Petit Tresor."
Cruise's camp doesn't think too much of this recollection, however.
Rachel Bilson: Welcome to the Dollhouse
So there has to be a good reason Rachel Bilson, the talented and O.C.-crushworthy actress, was out shopping with a doll.
Because her stuffed tiger was at a tea party?
Because she'd just completed adoption through Toys "R" Us?
Because "It's mine! Mine!"?
We could tell you she's holding it while shopping with her little sister, which is what we think is the case, but we know you would rather try to guess yourself.
So have at it: Tell us why you think she's holding the baby doll.

Brit's New Favorite Shop
Has Britney Spears found style? The pap princess made a quick stop at one of her new favorite stores, Tracey Ross, yesterday.
"She looked amazing," an eyewitness tells E! News. "The best ever."
Tracey herself looked a little frazzled at the scrum surrounding her new client, yelling at one photographer, “Get out of my store!”
On Spears' last visit to the Sunset Plaza boutique, she told the salesgirls she planned to come back for eyelash extensions, but instead she selected a few chic Anna Sui designs.
"She picked out a gorgeous Anna Sui halter dress with a handkerchief skirt and these robin's-egg blue '60s-inspired cardigans," says our eyewitness. "She also got a pair of Beryll aviator sunglasses, which she loved because they were the perfect size."
Does this newfound love of couture mean Brit will ditch her signature cowboy boots sometime soon?
Don’t count on it. Those sweaty ol’ things (according to her, anyway) go with everything.
