Brandon Davis Smash Hits Pink's Ride

Brandon Davis has left Pink seeing red...and paparazzi, with luck, seeing green.

The billionaire oil heir (and "Firecrotch" promulgator) was, as is his tendency, caught on camera early this morning in yet another compromising position—namely, obliviously smashing into Pink's BMW SUV.

The bang-up job took place in the parking lot of West Hollywood's famed Viper Room around 1 a.m., though neither Pink nor any passengers were in the crunched vehicle at the time.

As for Davis, he was looking to make a getaway from the trailing paparazzi after leaving a liquor store adjacent to the club when he backed slowly into Pink's car, though his rep was quick to note that his late-night convenience run should not lead to speculation about his sobriety.

Who Knew? Sarah Palin "Terrifies" Pink

Pink, Sarah Palin Joseph Connolly/Getty Images, Frank Micelotta/Getty Images

Pink's view of GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is none too rosy. She doesn't think Palin is a stupid girl, but...

"This woman hates women," the M!ssundaztood singer told PopEater.com Thursday in an interview ostensibly promoting her upcoming album Funhouse.

"She is not a feminist. She is not the woman that's going to come behind Hillary Clinton and do anything that Hillary Clinton would've been capable of...I can't imagine overturning Roe vs. Wade. She's not of this time. The woman terrifies me."

If it makes Pink feel any better, Palin isn't the only important opinionated lady in John McCain's life. Cindy McCain told the ladies of The View today that she disagrees with Palin's reported against-abortion-in-all-circumstances stance. "Yes," there are exceptions, she said.

"John and I agree on this issue," the aspiring first lady said.

But apparently abortion rights aren't the only thing on Pink's mind.

Pink and Carey Hart: Giving Divorce a Good Name?

It's one thing to be friendly with your ex, but to come across as full-blown BFFs is kinda weird, right?

While we wouldn't question Pink being there for her former husband, Carey Hart, to help him grieve over the recent loss of his younger brother, Anthony, Carey's fairly long cameo in the singer's new video for her tune "So What," does have us scratching our heads a bit.

After all, many of the video's visuals make direct reference to their defunct marriage, and at one point, Pink playfully puts her arms around Carey while she's belting out such lyrics as: "You weren't there/ You never were/ You want it all/ But that's not fair/ I gave you life/ I gave my all/ You weren't there/  You let me fall."

So take a look, have a listen and let us know what you think.

Pink's Marriage Fades to Black

Pink's marriage was apparently not a feel-good time.

The pop-punk princess and her husband of just two years, the motocross-racing, Surreal Life-starring Carey Hart, have separated. And by the sounds of things, rather amicably.

"This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," said the singer's publicist, Michele Schweitzer. "While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."

Indeed, in a post on her official site (pinkspage.com), Pink blames dueling careers for torpedoing the union.

"The most important thing for you all to know, is that Carey and I love each other so so much," she writes. "This breakup is not about cheating, anger, or fighting. I know it sounds like cliché bulls***, but we are best friends, and we will continue to be.

"All I know at this point, is that I want to make the best album I can, and Carey wants to do the best possible job he can with everything he has going on. He is a good man, so please support him as well.

"One never knows the future, but mine and Careys' just might involve beach babies and sunshine one day. Just not right now. Thanks for the concern and caring."

The post is signed "Miss P."

Rumors of a rift between the unconventional couple, who divided their time between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, first surfaced last August.

But Hart himself quickly shot down the reports of marital discord, telling the Las Vegas Review-Journal at the time that it was "just a bunch of trash talk. It's just a nasty rumor. Everything's fine."

The 28-year-old "Get This Party Started" singer first met the 32-year-old extreme athlete at the 2001 X Games. After dating for much of the next few years—the duo briefly split in 2003 before rekindling their romance—Pink popped the question in June 2005 while Hart was in the midst of competing in the Pro 250 finals in Mammoth Lakes, California.

While Hart was on the racetrack, Pink scrawled the words Will you marry me? on a board and wandered out to the pit area. When Hart saw the sign, he asked, "Are you serious?" before forfeiting the race to accept the proposal.

Hart and Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, tied the knot in January 2006 in a seaside sunset ceremony in Costa Rica.

Roughly 100 of their closest friends attended the nondenominational service, including Lisa Marie Presley. In honor of the occasion, both the two-time Grammy winner and the star biker had "Tru Luv" tattoos inked on their wrists.

It was the first marriage for both.

Pink Not Sheepish on Wool Issue

Pink is not one to let the wool to be pulled over her eyes—or over her body, for that matter.

The pop star has teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to urge a boycott of the Australian wool industry in an effort to halt the controversial practice of "mulesing," in which farmers cut skin from around the rear ends of sheep to prevent fly infestations.

Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, serves as the narrator of a graphic PETA video about the practice, which shows workers using shears to snip skin folds from the backsides of struggling sheep.

The practice is meant to create scar tissue that prevents a painful and often deadly condition called fly strike, but animal advocates argue that there are more humane methods of fighting the condition.

"The wool trade uses methods so sadistic that it makes you consider clearing your closet of any animal products," Pink states in the video.

"I am calling on consumers to check labels on sweaters before buying them, and if they're merino wool or made in Australia, to leave them on the racks."

Pink also called for a ban on live exports, citing the inhumane treatment of sheep that were shipped to foreign ports for slaughter.

"PETA is thrilled that Pink is leading our global boycott of Australian wool until the industry’s bizarre, cruel lamb mutilations stop," PETA spokesman Michael McGraw told E! Online Wednesday. "Pink has attracted more attention to the problem of mulesing in the past 24 hours than the issue has received in the past 24 years."

Unsurprisingly, the singer's message was roundly slammed by sheep and wool industry leaders, who claimed that she was poorly informed on the issue.

Robert Pietsch, president of Australia's WoolProducers and chairman of the Wool and Sheep Industry Taskforce, said the industry is working to phase out the practice of mulesing by 2010 and has been conducting extensive trials on alternative methods of preventing fly strike.

"Mulesing is the best practice at the moment to protect sheep against the horrible condition of blowfly strike," Pietsch told Australia's Daily Telegraph.

Cameron Hall, the chief executive of LiveCorp, which represents the live export industry, invited Pink to meet farmers and discuss the issues with them when she tours in Australia in April.

"For someone to come out and make ill-informed commentary on the back of being virtually handed a script is pretty disappointing," he told the Daily Telegraph.

In fact, Toni Collette, who previously served as PETA's celebrity spokeswoman against mulesing, later released a statement acknowledging the complexity of the issue after she spoke with farmers to learn more about the practice.

"The issue is not as black and white as was previously presented to me," Collette said in a July 2005 statement. "I was given to understand that there were 'effective and humane alternatives to prevent fly strike' and they are 'currently available.' I am now aware that there are no simple alternatives available to farmers at this time."

PETA's McGraw said the actor reversed her position after she was "pounced on" by the wool industry.

"Although we made her aware of available humane alternatives that exist right now, the wool industry came down hard on her and she relented," McGraw said.

In other animal advocacy news, the release of PETA's annual Worst Dressed Celebrity list earlier this month apparently goaded at least two starlets into rethinking their fashion choices.

As first reported by E! Online's Marc Malkin, Christina Ricci vowed to stop wearing fur altogether after she was named to the list for posing in reindeer fur on the cover of W magazine and saw her number-one fansite shut down as a result.

"I never meant to hurt nor anger anyone with my insensitivity," Ricci said in a statement. "For what it is worth, I have received the message loud and clear and will not be wearing fur in the future."

No word on whether her fansite, christinaricci.info, will be reinstated.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan, who was reportedly PETA's first choice for Worst Dressed Celeb of the Year, headed off the dishonor by informing the organization that she was changing her fur-loving ways, just days before the list was released.

I"Not only has Lindsay Lohan been spotted wearing fake fur coats and PETA's 'no fur' buttons, but she seemed sincere when she told us recently that she is learning about the cruelty behind fur and is 'trying to weed the real fur from [her] wardrobe,'" McGraw said. "We're taking a wait and see approach, but out of good faith, we removed her from PETA's annual worst dressed list before we released it this year."

Instead, the organization selected Nicole Richie as Worst Dressed, closely followed by Ashley Olsen and Eva Longoria.
