Hello from Baby Luca and Mama Dos Santos!
KDS took a minute out of her über-busy new-mom schedule to write in and share some new pics of the kiddo. Read on for the latest from Kristin!
Here are new photos of Luca. We just went to his first doctor's appointment, and he's already gained almost two pounds since we left the hospital. He's now 8 pounds , 11 ounces and 23 inches long, which, according to our doc, is in the 98th percentile for height. So the good news is my husband (6 feet 5 inches) is now convinced the baby is his and not John Stamos'. Heee.
So far motherhood is pretty great, though I do miss you readers and knowing what's going to happen on Lost. Silver lining: Luca has an excellent ear for who'll get the boot next on Idol—he cried through Anoop and Lil and cooed at Adam. So, of course, we are convinced he's a genius.
And thanks to all of you who wrote congratulations messages. We read every one!
xoxo,
TV Gossip Girl/Milk Maid

Baby Boy Dos Santos: Photos and a Name!
Everybody say hello to Luca Alexander Dos Santos, born April 5, 2009, pictured here with his daddy, Joao. (Click in for more pics and deets.)
Congratulations Kristin & Joao!
Baby boy Dos Santos is here!
Kristin went into labor yesterday (on her due date, April 4), and the little fella arrived bright and early this morning at 5:03 a.m. He is 7 pounds 1 ounce, 22 inches long, and may or may not have a name yet. Everybody is happy and healthy.
Welcome the newest member of the Watch with Kristin family in the comments below!
Gotta Run...
It's time, tubers.
According to my very kind doctor, this baby could come "at any time now." So I'm starting my maternity leave.
I will miss you dearly, but please know I am leaving you in very good and capable hands: Jennifer Godwin, Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna and Natalie Abrams will be covering this column in my absence, and I have no doubt they will kick some serious gluteus maximus and keep you all happy while I'm out.
We will keep this Watch With Kristin section filled with the scoop, interviews and shirtless Josh Holloway pics you have grown to...well, if not love, at least tolerate. (BTW, I believe Josh's wife is due right around the same day as I am, as is Alyson Hannigan. It's baby time, people!)
So...hmmm. While we wait, how about a fun little Baby Dos Santos pool? You can play along by guessing my bambino's birth date and sex below.
Also, no joke, we still have not decided on a name for this child. (Decisions, decisions!) So any and all suggestions for our little Dos Santos are much welcome in the comments below.
Take care of yourselves and happy tubing!
Much love,
Kristin
The Secret Is Out
You sneaky devils.
When it comes to figuring out celeb secrets, plot points and Lost's latest mystery, I have always appreciated your smart and sleuthy ways because you so very often get it right.
But for the first time I have to say: No fair! 'Cause the tables have turned and you got me.
So, confession time. To all of you who posted comment after comment last week after the Emmys saying that I looked a little "fuller figured" and appeared to have a "glow" I'd like to finally come clean and admit that...
Happy Holidays to You All, from the Lost Rafties
Before I bow out for the holidays and head down to Brasil to celebrate a Feliz Ano Novo in São Paulo, I wanted to share this music video with you guys.
Harold Perrineau (Lost's Michael) wrote and performed the song for the troops overseas and the video was directed by Daniel Dae Kim (Lost's Jin). It's a damn fine song and video, and a good reminder of how many kids are still overseas right now.
All proceeds from the song go to support the Bob Woodruff Family Fund for Traumatic Brain Injury. Press play above to check it out, and keep your eyes peeled for a few notable guest stars: Harold's wife, Brittany, Jeremy Renner, Harold's Oz costar Lauren Vélez (now LaGuerta on Dexter) and last but not least, the third raftie, Josh Holloway! (And bonus points for you who find Daniel.)
I hope you'll enjoy it, and if you do, please help spread the word. And most of all, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year! Love, KDS
