Campbell's Rap Sheet Mmm, Mmm Good
Naomi Campbell's long-pending legal battle with an embittered, and allegedly beaten, ex-maid has finally been swept under the rug.
The assault-prone supermodel has settled her lawsuit with her former Romanian housekeeper, Gaby Gibson. Gibson claimed she was subjected to discrimination from Campbell—or, in Gibson's words, being a "violent super-bigot"—and smacked by the catwalker over a missing pair of designer jeans.
While the 38-year-old model has repeatedly denied the claims, her attorney said she had reached an undisclosed settlement with Gibson and that both sides were pleased with the outcome.
Naomi Campbell Flashes a More Fertile Style
Thoughts of motherhood are strutting through Naomi Campbell's head.
The catty catwalker revealed at a charity event during London Fashion Week recently that she had been unable to conceive before having surgery earlier this year, ostensibly to have a cyst removed from her abdomen.
"Until March, I wasn't able to have kids. Now I can," Campbell, revealing a softer side, told reporters, according to Britain's Press Association. "They thought it was a cyst. When they opened it up they realized it was more."
Update
Campbell Cops to Flight Fight, Avoids Jail
Thanks to Naomi Campbell, British Airways doesn't actually need to be airborne to encounter major turbulence.
The trouble-prone catwalker pleaded guilty today to assaulting two police officers after causing a stink aboard a BA flight at London's Heathrow Airport in April.
But she managed to avoid the maximum six-month jail term. Instead she was sentenced to 200 hours of community service for the air-rage ruckus, fined $4,600 and ordered to pay $400 to each of the police officers she attacked and $300 to the captain of the flight.
Naomi Campbell Can Trust Her Agent
Naomi Campbell has the best agent ever. Ever.
When the drama queen fell into the arms of a woman on the streets of Capri while on vacation, Naomi’s agent supposedly denied reports of tipsiness to the British press, insisting, “Naomi was playing this trust game, where you fall into a friend’s arms.”
We know whose arms we’d want at the ready if unflattering photos surfaced of us—but not sure we're falling for your line about Naomi playing a game.

Spittin' Mad! Scotland Yard Charges Naomi Campbell
Naomi Campbell is used to hurling things at others. Now she's getting something thrown back at her: the book.
The arrest-prone supermodel has been formally charged with six counts, including assaulting two police officers, as a result of last month's terminal spit-take at Heathrow Airport.
The 38-year-old was booked on the charges while answering bail at the Heathrow Airport police station at 11:30 this morning. She remained at the station for just a half hour.
According to the Crown Prosecution Service, Campbell has been charged with three counts of assaulting a constable; one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress; and two counts of using threatening, abusive words or behavior toward cabin crew.
Campbell's attorney, Simon Nicholls, said his client was "bitterly disappointed" to learn that the situation could not be resolved outside of court.
"She respects that decision and she hopes this matter is dealt with expeditiously."
Naomi Campbell: Don't Call Me a Supermodel
Naomi Campbell as an advocate for political correctness? At least if you're an international beauty icon.
Naomi is standing up for beautiful women everywhere and trying to put a stop to the term supermodel, according to an appearance on this Ugly Betty podcast (promoting the show's season finale this Thursday).
"It's a term we don't particularly like," says Campbell, pointing out that the preferred nomenclature among good-looking women who are paid to promote stuff is "working model."
Too bad no one asked her what she thinks of the term diva.
Naomi Campbell Takes Another Swing
Naomi Campbell just flung a baseball bat and is sprinting directly toward us...Run for your lives!
OK, time-out: The combative supermodel is actually filming a scene for the season finale of Ugly Betty, a softball game between Elle and Mode magazine staffers. From the looks of it, Naomi hit it out of the park—unprovoked by assistants, housekeepers or British Airways personnel.
And while no telephones or BlackBerrys were reportedly harmed during the making of this show, if any castmembers are injured, at least they have an enthusiastic blood donor on the field.
Becki Newton Wants John Legend!
Becki Newton belted out “Gene Simmons Is My Daddy” on Ugly Betty when her character Amanda finds out the Kiss rocker is her father.
And now she wants more.
No, not another ode to Mr. Simmons, but Newton says she’d like to release an album “someday.”
And she wouldn’t mind some help from an old college buddy from the University of Pennsylvania...
Naomi Shows Her Ugly Side
Ugly Betty just got a beauty of a guest star. Lookswise, anyway.
An ABC rep has confirmed to E! News that Naomi Campbell will be bringing her arresting screen presence and her own rather infamous brand of drama to the fashion-forward hit, signing on to guest star in the show's second-season finale May 22.
The 37-year-old, who's no stranger to acting out (albeit not on camera) has yet to film her part for the episode. While the show's brain trust is mum on her role, she presumably will follow the high-heeled footsteps of former guest stars Victoria Beckham and Gene Simmons and play herself—or at least a version of herself that's appropriate for family-hour television.
Campbell was originally tapped to appear as a guest star last year but, for reasons unknown, that casting coup never materialized. She was again due to appear earlier this year, but the writers' strike derailed those plans.
Warning to the wardrobe department: Unless you're itching for a concussion, guard her jeans with your life.
British Airways Clips Naomi's Wings
BA is calling BS on Naomi Campbell's airport antics.
In the wake of the supermodel's arrest at London's Heathrow Airport last week, reports out of the U.K. claim that British Airways has issued a lifetime ban against the assault-prone catwalker.
"All incidents of abusive or disruptive behavior towards fellow passengers or staff are taken extremely seriously and will not be tolerated," the airline said in a statement Tuesday, adding that it was policy not to specifically comment on individual passengers.
"We deal with cases on an individual basis and take appropriate action where necessary."
A publicist for the 37-year-old stunner, meanwhile, asked why can't everyone just get along.
"Naomi has been flying with BA for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer," Campbell's publicist said. "She hopes this can be resolved amicably."
The Los Angeles-bound poser was hauled out of the first-class cabin of a BA flight Thursday after an argument with an airline attendant over a missing piece of luggage devolved into the model allegedly spitting on an intervening police officer. She was on suspicion of assaulting the officer.
What remained of her luggage was removed from the plane, and Campbell was held in custody for several hours before posting bail.
The A-list barring would not be a first for the airline, which already established itself as a no-fly zone for Snoop Dogg. The rapper got the lifetime cold shoulder after he and his entourage started a fight in British Airways' first-class lounge at Heathrow Airport back in April 2006.
Naomi Spittin' Mad at Airport?
Forget cell phones—Naomi Campbell's apparent new weapon of choice: loogies.
The anger-mismanaging supermodel was released on bail early Friday morning after getting arrested yet again, this time at London's Heathrow Airport yesterday afternoon on suspicion of assaulting a policeman with saliva.
Campbell walked out of the airport police station shortly after midnight after being ordered to report back to the station in early May pending further investigation.
As originally reported by the U.K.'s Sky News, the catwalker was involved in an altercation with airline employees, which allegedly escalated into her spitting on a uniformed officer.
Rep Jeff Raymond confirmed to E! News that Campbell had already boarded a flight to Los Angeles to attend a memorial service when she was informed one of her pieces of checked luggage was MIA.
According to Britain's Sun tabloid, Campbell was removed "ranting and screaming" from British Airways' first-class cabin and escorted through the airport's newly opened—and already trouble-plagued—Terminal 5.
Per the Sun, Campbell was less than pleased with the airport staff's suggestion that she take off without the bag, or their assurance that they would forward along the luggage to her final destination should it turn up.
Once officers arrived to restore order, the loogie-launching had apparently commenced.
The model, who has a well-documented history of violent indiscretions, was reportedly hauled off to the airport police station, and her bag—the one that made it onboard, anyway—was removed from the plane, resulting in a more than one-hour delay in the flight.
"[British Airways] decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight and then called the police to forcibly eject her from the flight," Raymond said.
"She was taken to the Heathrow Police Station and released on police bail. So far as we are aware British Airways have still failed to offer any explanation as to why her bag went missing at Terminal 5."
A spokesperson for Heathrow confirmed that a 37-year-old female passenger was removed by police from a British Airways flight this afternoon. However, per airport policy, the perp was not identified.
Likewise, London's Metropolitan Police confirmed earlier Thursday that said unnamed individual was in custody at Heathrow Police Station. (The police will only identify a suspect once he or she has been charged.)
There was no comment from the Metropolitan Police on the officer's condition—aside from presumably being soggy.
Campbell's publicist, Selina Aponte, was spotted leaving Heathrow just before 10 p.m.
"We have all seen the reports, but I don't know anything," said Aponte, adding that she hadn't seen the model.
Last year, the supermodel served five days' community service at New York's Department of Sanitation after pleading guilty to throwing a BlackBerry at her then-assistant.

Naomi Campbell Whisked Away from Hospital
For Naomi Campbell, hospital gowns are so last season.
The British supermodel was released Friday from the Brazilian hospital where she underwent emergency surgery Monday to have a small cyst removed from her abdomen.
"She recovered very well from her surgery," Mirtes Bogea, a spokeswoman for the locally renowned Sirio Libanes Hospital, said Friday. "Doctors signed her release, and she left in the afternoon in a helicopter that someone sent to pick her up."
Gynecologist Dr. Jose Aristodemo Pinotti confirmed that he operated on Campbell but would provide no further details about the nature of her condition, only telling the Agencia Estado news service that the 37-year-old was "completely cured."
Pinotti said he performed a laparoscopy, a relatively noninvasive procedure in which a small incision is made, usually through the navel, and a little tube fitted with a camera is inserted to examine a person's abdominal and pelvic organs.
"I cannot reveal what Naomi had, nor how serious her condition was, but I can say I operated on her, and she is completely cured," Pinotti said.
Per local reports, leading infectious disease specialist Dr. David Uip also cared for Campbell during her week-long stay at Sirio Libanes.
"Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work," the catwalker's publicist, Jeff Raymond, said in a statement Tuesday. "She would like to thank the doctors who have kindly looked after her."
