Paris Hilton Talks My New BFF: "I'm Not That Superficial"
Our favorite scripted shows are gone, so it's time to give some summer reality programs a shot—like season two of Paris Hilton's My New BFF.
Sure it's filled with preplanned scenarios (such as testing out a stripper pole), scripted events (a bachelor party for one of her guy friends) and silly challenges (like trying to find an egg in a larger-than-life-size cupcake), but if guilty-pleasure TV (à la Rock of Love, or really anything on MTV or VH1) gives you a giggle once in a while, then so will Paris' second season, which debuts Tuesday on MTV.
We sat down with Miss Hilton to get the dirt on season two, which will feature guest appearances by Lil' Kim, Kathy Griffin and others...
Next Chapter in the Epic Romance of Paris & Doug: Parents Meet
Paris Hilton was ecstatic last night at the Fragrance Foundation's FiFi Awards in NYC for more reason than one.
In addition to being honored for Celebrity Fragrance of the Year, her parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, were meeting boyfriend Doug Reinhardt's mother, Kelly Roberts, for the very first time.
"This is their first time meeting," Paris told E! News backstage. "I've been on many trips with his family. I love his mom and dad. They're amazing…His mom flew all the way out here just for me because she wanted to see me receive this award."
Apparently, the installment of Meet the (über-wealthy) Parents went rather well…
Paris Hilton Has a Special Surprise for You
Guess what tonight is?!
The premiere of Paris Hilton's new reality show My New BFF! How pumped are you?
Now if the casting special that aired a couple weeks ago didn't get you totally excited, Paris unveiled the theme song for her special series today on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM show. And it's conveniently located below for your listening pleasure.
While Paris' effort is more tolerable than a Heidi Montag track, we gotta say it's not as fun as we would have expected from the hit recording artist behind "Stars Are Blind." In fact, it comes across way needy and kinda Disney Channel-y. Maybe they should have just used The Hills' theme song. (Fact: you can never have enough "Unwritten.")
Could this be a sign that My New BFF isn't going to be that good? Gasp!
