That Kanye West. He's always got something new to entertain us.

The video for "Champion" not only gives in to our current Olympic fever (Michael Phelps, yeah!) but also a deep-seated love for all things puppets developed over the course of a childhood filled with Sesame Street and The Muppet Show.

In fact, we believe there are not enough puppets at work in Hollywood, so we hope an endorsement from Kanye will change all that. Give the video a view and try to tell us Puppet Kanye isn't the most adorable thing ever.

We love Carrie Underwood. Really we do. "Before He Cheats" and "Last Name" have a permanent home on our iPods. Even her latest single, "Just a Dream," gets us choked up.

Which makes it all the more difficult to say we're not exactly loving the new video for the song. Yes, the subject matter, about a woman dealing with the loss of a loved one in the military is, without a doubt, moving.

Unfortunately, the country cutie's decision to cast herself as the grief-stricken wife in the video is a bit distracting at times, making us kinda wish she had, at least here, simply stuck to her day job.

There you have it. That's our two cents. Now give us yours. We're pretty sure you will.

Who likes Ali Lohan's new single, "All the Way Around"?

Samantha Ronson, for one.

On her MySpace blog, the celebrity DJ quashes a Page Six report that she refused to play the new single from her pal Lindsay Lohan's younger sister.

"It's a great f***ing pop song," says Ronson, who also has some choice words about the tabloids in the posting.

Singer Devendra Banhart, better known as Natalie Portman's boyfriend, begged asked the Oscar-nominated actress to play a princess in the Bollywood-inspired video for his song "Carmensita."

Working with Miley Cyrus reminded Brett Ratner of a "Beautiful Stranger" he once knew.

“She turns it on,” the filmmaker, who last month directed the video for Cyrus' new single "7 Things," exclusively tells E! News. “A lot like Madonna.”

Ratner, who also helmed the pop icon's "Beautiful Stranger" video for Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, says he sees many similarities between Miley and Madonna, besides the whole first-initial thing.

Midway between being a hyperkinetic "Loser" and someone adrift in the doldrums of a "Sea Change," Beck zaps us with "Gamma Ray," a new video from his forthcoming CD, Modern Guilt. The low-key, lo-fi sounds here (created in collaboration with Danger Mouse) are offset by Beck's trademark arty visuals and sly pop-culture signifying. Case in point: lyric references to blues classics "Smokestack Lightning" and "Terraplane Blues."

But not to worry, you don't need a decoder ring to enjoy it. Just watch and listen.

Rest easy, Miley Cyrus fans. Breakout may be the title of her upcoming album, but for us, the 15-year-old is clearly not straying very far from the bubble-gum pop persona that has made her a tween sensation.

This weekend saw the release of the video for her new single, "7 Things," which finds Miley, along with her "girlfriends," lashing out at their exes—complete with hurt looks, the occasional teardrop and, just to make sure the angst is properly conveyed, enough stuffed animals to put Build-A-Bear to shame.

So check it out and let us know what you think. Is Miley shaking up that Hannah Montana image of hers—or is it simply a case of Kelly Clarkson lite?

T-Pain has a knack for showing up in the right place at the right time.

"I'd like to thank T-Pain for gettin' on the record with me," said Kanye West, a two-time winner Tuesday at the 2008 BET Awards, upon accepting their award for Best Collaboration on the Graduation tune "Good Life." "This man's a genius. What he does, what he writes...we're blessed to be in this man's presence."

The 22-year-old rapper-producer, a featured artist on no less than 18 singles (so far) in 2007 and 2008, entered the evening with a leading five nominations, although his shared win with West was it for now.

West was also named Best Male Hip-Hop Artist for the second time, his first win in that category coming in 2005, when Late Registration was still a new album.

We don't exactly think of the Jonas Brothers as butt-kicking brutes, and obviously, neither do they.

In the trio's just-released video for their new song, "Burning Up," the boys have some fun with a few pop culture action figures, with Nick channeling James Bond, Joe doing the whole Miami Vice, pastel thing, and Kung Fu Kevin learning a thing or two from—who else?— David Carradine.

Naturally, a Disney star, in this case Selena Gomez, makes a cameo as a Bond girl.

Lest we forget from whence their popularity originated.

Not everybody loves country music, but heck, it's Friday—who doesn't love a little medicine to make it all better. That's why we're serving up of a heapin' helpin' of "Buy My Medicine," Snoop Dogg's latest ode to inebriation.

With an assist from the always-smokin' Willie Nelson, the track finds the Snoop D-Oh-Double-G casually rapping over pedal-steel guitar swirls and country-style strummin' about sending someone out to the "drugstore."

But this is also an anthem of true love, passion and the eternity of ardor, as this sample lyric so deftly demonstrates: "Girl, my love's gonna last just as long as my high, and I'm high all day, every day."

Jessica Alba shakes her peaches and does some Good Golly Miss Bollywood crooning. We're sure they thought it was insanely funny, and they're half right. It's insane!
