Wow, that bites. When overworked couple Daniel Travis and Blanchard Ryan head off for an exotic scuba-diving trip, unfortunate happenstance leaves them accidentally abandoned in the middle of the ocean. They're hot, hungry, tired and, oh, surrounded by a bunch of sharks looking for dinner. Like
The Blair Witch Project, this digitally shot flick ratchets up the tension with the power of the unknown as the two try to keep their heads about them without losing their legs--and other body parts--to their new
Jaws-y neighbors.
The indie flick runs the gamut of real emotions with honest dialogue and fear (due to the film's low budget,
real un-Hollywood sharks were used as extras). It'll leave you with the creeps and make you think twice about swimming in the ocean for the rest of the summer.
