Fo' shizzle, Jamie Kennedy's hidden-camera TV show, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment is a funny, semi-undiscovered gem, but there his bits last only minutes. For this spoof on everything hip-hop, we get one joke over and over (and over again) as Kennedy plays a privileged white wannabe rapper from Malibu taken to the 'hood and exposed to the real streets.
Some cracks--and Snoop Dogg voicing a talking rat--are funny, sure, but Malibu quickly becomes a repetitious beat of Kennedy not getting it. And, heck, most of the audience will need a rap-slang dictionary (like this one) to even get the jokes. This white guy's not so fly.
