Mariah Bottles Up Her Excitement

Mariah Carey is in a great place and she wants everyone to smell like it.

The platinum-selling diva has spilled the details on Luscious Pink, the second scent for her signature Elizabeth Arden fragrance line. It's inspired by her whirlwind romance with hubby Nick Cannon and her recent success on the charts, as well as the other sweet things in life.

"This scent is feminine, flirtatious and fun, and truly reflects where I am in my life now, after an incredible year," Carey said earlier this week, per WWD.com.

Should Mariah Carey Be Worried?

No doubt the queen of divas, Mariah Carey, doesn't like everyone proclaiming that hot young upstart Leona Lewis is on the verge of knocking her off her music superstar throne.

Ms. Lewis, on the other hand, definitely doesn't mind being compared to greats like Carey and Whitney Houston.

"It's amazing," the "Bleeding Love" hitmaker tells James Brady in Sunday's Parade magazine. "It's exceedingly gratifying, because they're so great."

Not so great, however, are the possible pitfalls of celebrity...

Thought Glitter was tacky?

Mariah Carey is reportedly hitting up her rich friends for wedding presents—even though they weren’t invited to the party.

Carey’s assistant allegedly sent out  "more than 100 emails to her wealthy friends letting them know she's registered at Bergdorf Goodman if they want to buy her a present.”

On the list are fine china, expensive silver stemware and, oh, yeah, class.

No Boo-Boo for Mimi

It'll take more than that honking diamond ring to throw off Mariah Carey's balance.

Although paparazzi snaps taken yesterday on the Hawaiian set of the newlywed songbird's new music video, "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time," seem to suggest Carey suffered some kind of injury, a rep for the singer denies that any mishaps took place during the shoot.

"Nothing happened," her rep told E! News. "No truth to this at all."

Leona Lewis Isn't Looking for Trouble

Leona Lewis may be looking a bit sexed up on the new cover of Blender, but she's no bad girl in the making.

In fact, the “Bleeding Love” hitmaker doesn’t smoke, drink or wear leather or diamonds.

“When I was 18, I had a few glasses of Alcopop—they’re bubblegummy drinks with a bit of alcohol—and it was gross,” Lewis says. “I’ve tasted champagne, which is gross. And I tasted wine, which I don’t like. I might be quite boring.”

Boring, Ms. Lewis, has never looked so good.

Get ready, Japan!

Mariah Carey and her lovey-dovey hubby, Nick Cannon, have just arrived in the Land of the Rising Sun, where the "Touch My Body" singer is scheduled to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2008 on Friday.

And, of course, to relentlessly remind everyone how so very happy she and Nick are since tying the knot last month.

We're starting to think we may need a little emancipation from Mimi.

First Look: Mariah's Magic Mountain Night With Nick

Snaps have just surfaced of Nick Cannon's surprise party for Mariah Carey at Six Flags Magic Mountain earlier this week. Check out those forced smiles!

As we reported earlier, the newlyweds rented the entire theme park Tuesday night for 100 of their closest friends and covered the place in lilac and pink balloons.

Mimi, who donned a bright pink Superman cape at one point, noshed on cupcakes in between roller-coaster rides with her hubby—which might explain the gritted teeth.

Update: Sources confirm that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey celebrated their wedding Tuesday night at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, Calif. Only 100 of their closest friends, family and business associates were invited, including Mariah's manager, Benny Medina, Nick's father, and his half-brother, Reuben.

Still no word of a honeymoon, but newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are planning a big blowout tonight.

A source tells E! News that the two lovebirds are renting all of Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park for a private party.

All the roller coasters you can ride until you throw up...sounds romantic! Guess these two really are "eternally 12 years old" after all.

And this is just one stop on their busy schedule: Last Saturday, they were at Ellen DeGeneres' 50th birthday bash and then hit Villa on Monday night for some drinks and dancing.

Coming up, Nick's jet-setting back to New York City to deejay at the Stoli Hotel soiree Friday.

No word on whether Mimi will join her man that night, but the way they've been attached at the hip lately, it wouldn't surprise us.

A girl's gotta have her priorities, right?

In her first interview since tying the knot with Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey appears on Tuesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat up her recent nuptials—and to reveal that when it comes to the biggest day of your life, it's definitely more important to be the lovely one as opposed to being surrounded by a bunch of silly loved ones.

"Mainly it was people there to do my hair and help me with the dress," Mimi tells Ellen about who attended the quickie marriage last month. "And then three of my friends, and he had three people with him, so it wasn't a lot of people."

Meanwhile, Ellen called in this morning to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM morning show to dish on the diva's exclusive, albeit tardy, appearance...

Mr. and Mrs. Cannon Fire Up Manhattan

Call it the emancipation of the Cannons.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon stepped out publicly for the first time as husband and wife Thursday night in New York, making an appearance at the party for Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World.

The newlyweds arrived at the bash, held at Lincoln Center, around 9:30 p.m. and eschewed the red carpet press, instead making their way inside to allow Mimi adequate prep time for her 10:30 p.m. performance.

Cannon, 27, and Carey, 38, showed off their blingtastic wedding rings, which the Grammy winner matched with her extremely formfitting, short 'n' shimmery dress.

The duo stuck around long enough to pose alongside Oprah BFF Gayle King, music producer Antonio "L.A." Reid and Time Warner CEO Richard Parsons, before continuing on to a postparty pit stop at eatery du jour the Waverly Inn.

Next week will bring yet another first for Carey, namely her first televised appearance as a married woman. Well, a twice-married woman.

She's set to tape an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday. The episode will air on Tuesday.

Nick Cannon took his ring out for a walk today in New York City. From the looks of it, he might need a little help toting the twinkly thing around.

His bride Mariah Carey is said to be performing tonight at the Time 100 event, and we'll bring you all the details as they come in.
