Beatlemania's about to hit Coachella.

Paul McCartney leads an impressive lineup that also includes Amy Winehouse in her first U.S. gigs in three years, The Killers, The Cure, Morrissey and Leonard Cohen, headlining the 10th Annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival set for April 17, 18 and 19 in Indio, Calif.

"I have heard that Coachella is one of the greatest festivals in the world. I'm really excited to get out there and rock!" said the 66-year-old McCartney.

The gig marks McCartney's first-ever U.S. festival appearance. He will play cuts from the newly released Electric Arguments from his side project, The Fireman, as well as the requisite Beatles songs.

Macca will kick off the first night of the 2009 edition, and approximately 130 other artists are expected to join him in performing throughout the weekend before a crowd expected to top 140,000.

Among the more notable acts on the bill: Franz Ferdinand, Perry Farrell, Public Enemy, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, Thievery Corporation, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Trav$DJ-AM, Henry Rollins, Superchunk, The Black Keys, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Mastodon, Crystal Method, Ghostland Observatory, Sebastien Tellier, Groove Armada and We Are Scientists.

McCartney is the latest music icon to hit the Coachella stage over the years, following in the Hall of Fame footsteps of Prince, Pink Floyd alum Roger Waters and Madonna.

Tickets on sale today at all Ticketmaster locations.
