The new season of Dancing With the Stars won’t begin until March, but rumors are already swirling that Jackass stuntman Stephen “Steve-O” Glover will be a likely contestant.

However, DWTS professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy doubts Steve-O really wants to be puttin' on any dancing shoes.

“I think it’s going to be one of those Jackass pranks,” Chmerkovskiy said last night at Karina Smirnoff's launch of non-profit at-risk youth organization Alternative Intervention Methods (AIM). “Somebody probably dared him, and now he has to do it.”

If he does end up on the show, Smirnoff thinks she’ll probably be partnered with him. “Based on the history of the partners I have gotten, usually I get people who have very strong personalities,” Smirnoff said.

Smirnoff’s previous DWTS partners have included Miley Cyrus' dad, Billy Ray, R&B singer Mario and now-ex-boyfriend Mario Lopez, among others.

But Steve-O would likely prove to be Smirnoff's biggest challenge yet. She wondered aloud, “I would not know where to start with him.”
