Is The Real Housewives of Orange County on the verge of losing one of its original stars, Vicki Gunvalson?

Sad to say, but it sounds like Vicki may be ready to go at the end of this fourth season. Asked if she wants to sign up for a fifth, she gives a terse, "No comment."

Why the possible about-face?

Perhaps it has something to do with the problems she had with her husband of 14 years, Don, when they were filming the fourth season last summer. Vicki revealed to me yesterday that Don now "100 percent" regrets signing up for the reality show, especially after tonight's episode, in which Vicki complains on the show that her "love tank is depleted" and she's unsure if Don "can fill it up."

"He's a vice president of a company. He has to go to work the next day, and he has people saying, 'Wow your wife really trashed ya again last night,' " Vicki said. "For a man, it's horrible. All I could say to him is, 'Honey, I love you. I'm sorry. Let's get past it.' And he was like, 'You should have thought about that when you were blabbing about your stupid love tank.' "

While Vicki says they've worked through their problems and now have an "amazing marriage," she's not happy about reliving the bad times as new episodes air each week. "It's embarrassing," she said.

And then there were the issues Vicki had with the new Housewife, Gretchen Rossi. Gretchen has gone public on the show and with the media about not being a big fan of Vicki's. Vicki says she and Gretchen will never be friends, but they patched things up this weekend when they ran into each other at the KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball concert. "We hugged each other and I said, 'Let's move on; we're big girls,' " Vicki said. "She agreed."
