Silverman & Kimmel, Faux-Awkward Funny
Folks tuning in to Jimmy Kimmel Live last night hoping the talk-show host and his guest, Sarah Silverman, would confirm if they are back together were instead witness to a lot of staged awkwardness, illustrating how uncomfortable it is for them to be in the same room together since breaking up.
While we're not the biggest fans of such fakey feelings—after all, the two have been spotted being chummy since their July split—we gotta admit this kind of shtick, in their hands, is pretty funny.
Of course, showing footage of a teenaged Sarah belting out a show tune certainly doesn't hurt, either.
