Rapper and MTV’s Pimp My Ride host Xzibit says 33-year-old Canadian crooner Michael Bublé is one artist with whom he's grateful he hasn't had to team up.

"Michael Bublé and I were supposed to work together, believe it or not," Xzibit said Saturday at the Galpin Auto Sports Grand Opening in Van Nuys. "It was supposed to happen in Australia for a little skit on some late-night talk show, but it just didn't happen—thank god! I mean, I'm seriously an artist."

X performed some of his popular songs, including "Alcoholic," "X" and "Get Yo’ Walk On," at Saturday’s event. Dave Navarro and Ozzy Osbourne also took center stage during the evening.

Also at the Wolfgang Puck-catered extravaganza was former Sister, Sister costar Tamera Mowry, who explained why she isn’t cut out to be the next Brooke Burke.

“I’ve been asked to do Dancing With the Stars, and I’ve thought about the possibility, but I’m so afraid,” Mowry said. “It’s so terrifying to go out there and learn all those dances. My boyfriend, my boyfriend’s dad and my sister all tell me to go after it, but there’s no way you’re going to see me on there anytime soon, because it just scares me. I’ve heard it’s really hard on the body, and I think I would just cry all the time. Maybe in two or three years I would be willing to give it a try.”

But don’t expect twin sister Tia to be on the show. “If either of us do it, it will be me,” Mowry said.

Kellen Lutz, Scott Baio, Audrina Patridge and Phoebe Price were also in attendance at the event.
