Jennifer Hudson Rocks the Fashion World

The Jennifer Hudson Vogue show rolls on.

As I told you yesterday, she was quite the hit on Monday night when she performed four songs—looking fabulous in Michael Kors, by the way—for Anna Wintour & Co. at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala in New York City.

Hudson was up early the next morning, because she was being photographed for the Vogue-produced Fashion Rocks, an annual magazine tied to the televised concert of the same name.

I'm told she was shot by celebrity shutterbug Norman Jean Roy in Lenny Kravitz's recording studio.

No word if Hudson will be on the cover of the mag (it doesn't come out until the fall), but I wouldn't be surprised if she were. Hudson became the third African-American actress to grace the cover of Vogue a few months ago for the fashion bible's March issue. Only Oprah Winfrey and Halle Berry came before her.

Last year, Hudson's Dreamgirls costars Jamie Foxx and Beyoncé were on the Fashion Rocks cover. In addition to Beyoncé, the televised concert included performances by Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi and the Scissor Sisters, among others.
