Fashion & FutureSex: It's Justin Time!
INFGoff.com
Justin Timberlake is not only bringing sexy back, he's bringing sexy girlfriend, Cameron Diaz, along with it. Or so I hear. Diaz has told friends that she may be hitting the road with JT for his upcoming North American tour.
Timberlake announced yesterday that his upcoming FutureSex/LoveSounds tour kicks off Jan. 8 in San Diego and finishes off on Mar. 29 in New Jersey. And from what I can tell, Ms. Diaz has nothing lined up on her calendar right now.
Last night, however, Timberlake kept her busy. The singer and buddy Trace Ayala presented the latest clothing collection from their William Rast line at a rockin' fashion show and after-party at Social's new neighbor, the Boulevard3 club in Hollywood. A dark-haired Diaz couldn't be missed in the front row, sitting with friends and Timberlake's mom, Lynn. Also in the crowd were Timberlake's fellow 'N Syncers JC Chasez and Lance Bass (who brought along boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl), as well as Wilmer Valderrama, Patrick Dempsey, Randy Jackson, Nick Cannon and, of course, Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky, who showed no signs of a broken heart. She and Entourage star Kevin Connolly have reportedly called it quits.
The fashion show was a blast. Tough-looking chicks shook their booties all over the catwalk, and one even gyrated the junk in her trunk mere inches from Diaz's face, which got Cameron puckering up for some joking, girl-on-girl action. A bunch of dancing dudes were just one sheet of cardboard away from resurrecting the electric, boogalicious 1980s.
Timberlake and Ayala offered Los Angeles a terrific example of what it needs to do if the city's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week ever expects to join cities like New York and London on the fashion map. Not sure why, but L.A. holds most of its Fashion Week shows in tents set up in Culver City, far from any happening L.A. action. William Rast was smack in the middle of Hollywood, where it caused quite a frenzy—and a lot of bumper-to-bumper, because traffic was diverted to make room for Timberlake & Co.
The night hit a high point with a Timberlake performance at the after-party. But alas, I didn't stay to catch JT and his friends, like Adam Levine, entertain the devoted. By 11p.m., I was tired. I was hungry. I was getting cranky. But the early departure was no problem for me, because I'm planning to get some FutureSex with JT when his tour hits L.A.
