Pitt and Aniston: They Do!
After months of rumors and denials, glittery Hollywood cuties Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston finally swapped vows in a pricey seaside ceremony Saturday.
About 200 guests, including most of the Friends cast--Courteney Cox Arquette (along with hubby David), Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer (Matt LeBlanc was MIA)--and such young Tinseltown scenesters as Cameron Diaz, Edward Norton, Salma Hayek, dudded up in their finest for the sunset party, which took place in a humongous white tent at television producer Marcy Carsey's Malibu spread.
For those keeping score at home, Aniston, 31, wore a floor-length white satin silk gown designed by Lawrence Steele, along with custom ivory-colored, suede high-heel sandals by shoemaker Manolo Blahnik. Her bridesmaids wore pale green silk chiffon slip dresses with pale tafetta mules.
Pitt, 36, was wrapped in a black Hedi Slimane tux and his groomsmen were clad in black Prada monkey suits.
It was the first trip down the aisle for both the Fight Club star and the Friends fixture, who have been an item since the spring of 1998. Pitt, however, was previously engaged to Gwyneth Paltrow.
Although the wedding site was staked out by paparazzi, TV cameras and news choppers for the past week, authorities enforced a no-fly zone to keep the nuptials as private as possible. Even part of California's Pacific Coast Highway was shut down to prevent an invasion of looky-loos.
The whole thing reportedly cost the couple about $1 million, including $100,000 for security, $75,000 for flowers and $20,000 for fireworks, which punctuated the party.
No word on where the newlyweds plan to honeymoon.
