Don't look for Making the Band's new star Donnie Klang to be reuniting with former flame Aubrey O'Day anytime soon.

It sounds like the Danity Kane songstress (above, checking out Klang's abs last month on MTV's Total Request Live) was too much work for the hunky singer during their on-again, off-again romance earlier this year.

"I'm kinda the guy who likes to stay out of drama," Klang, 23, said last night at Nylon magazine's TV issue party at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. "And Aubrey is always trying to get me involved with something. I have one little slip-up with her and it turns into this huge thing. For me, I'm the type that just likes avoiding drama...She's very wild."

But things didn't end badly between the two. Klang says, "She's one of my best friends now."

Klang released his debut album, Just a Rolling Stone, on Monday through Making the Band honcho Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records. "He's a very tough boss," Klang says of Combs. "People always ask, 'Is he really that mean?' He has to be that mean!"

Also at the party, which featured custom Effen vodka and Venom energy drink cocktails, were Ryan Phillippe, Bonnie Somerville, Lauren Conrad, Paris Hilton, Eric Ronick and Than Luu of up-and-coming band Black Gold and the stars of the new 90210, AnnaLynne McCord, Jessica Lowndes, Michael Steger and superhottie Dustin Milligan.
