As we told you yesterday, we think the dancing duo would make a perfectly cute couple.
However...
Both hoofers deny they are anything more than just fox-trotting friends.
"Dear people!" Chmerkovskiy tweeted yesterday. "Enough with the rumors! Elvis is really dead, Loch Ness monster is a myth and Cheryl & I are just friends!"
Rumors flew earlier this week that the two might be dating when they were reportedly seen getting "very cozy" while in Sin City together, with one photo surfacing of what appeared to be them kissing.
Burke echoed Chmerkovskiy's denial, also tweeting, "Had fun in vegas but not as much fun as people think I had!"
