ABC/NATHAN BELLLucy Liu may have played Alex Munday in the hit Charlie's Angels flicks, but that doesn't mean she's looking to reprise the role anytime soon.
At least not in the upcoming television reboot produced by costar Drew Barrymore...
"I think we did our fair share in the two movies, so I think I'm going to leave it up to the new girls," Liu told us the other day at the premiere of her new flick, Kung Fu Panda 2.
And when we caught up with Anne Ilonzeh, the hottie newcomer who plays Kate in the ABC series, she said she hasn't heard anything about her boss Barrymore popping up on the show. However, she also said there's plenty being kept under wraps, including a "huge twist" in the pilot.
Not so mysterious is Ilonzeh's stunt work. "I did about 95 percent myself," she said at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's recent Costume Council luncheon honoring Judith Leiber. "It's my second nature to be athletic, so I just want to get in there."
Fortunately, she didn't get hurt...much. "I just had some bruises and scratches," Ilonzeh said. "Or it was like, 'Oh, my god, I'm so sore' and you're limping the next day."
Ilonzeh said shooting will start up again in Miami in July.
