So what words of wisdom does the show's executive producer and former big-screen Angels star Drew Barrymore have for the newest set of crime-fighting gals?
"'Kick serious ass,'" Minka Kelly told us at Gatorade's G Series Fit Launch in Los Angeles when asked if Barrymore had given her any on-set advice.
And how's Kelly going to do that? She's working out three to five days a week and then some.
"We did a lot of martial arts training so that was a lot different," Kelly said. "[It's] a lot of fun. I really enjoy it."
And the gals aren't the only one's working their butts off. The shows' rebooted Bosley Ramon Rodriguez is doing his share of getting into character.
"I've been doing Bosley boot camp for the last two weeks," Rodriguez told us last month at the Battle: LA premiere. "It's fight training, gun training, hanging with the Angels, getting to know my girls, getting to know Charlie. It's been a really, really fun time in Miami."
