What a red carpet for scoop!

Not only is Russell Brand hinting that he may very well be jammin' alongside Tom Cruise in the film adaptation of Rock of Ages, but his Hop costar James Marsden is also talking about reports he's in talks for the upcoming Three Stooges movie...

"It might happen," said Brand at the L.A. premiere of Hop when we asked him about the rumors he might play a part in the rock 'n roll flick. Then he added, "Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin..." with a smile.

Hope it happens!

As for recent reports that Marsden could be nabbing the part of Larry in the upcoming Three Stooges movie, the star was just at coy.

"I can't really comment on it," Marsden said. But would he even want to take on a role as a member of the legendary comedy trio?

"Yeah, I would!" he gushed. "It would be a fun experience for me. I would embrace it. It would be a fun transformation, but I don't really know what's... Yeah, I can't really talk about it. Nothing's official."

Casting for the Stooges flick has been anything but a simple process, with actors like Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro and Jim Carrey all having been rumored to be a part of the film.

Also at the premiere was Hop costar Kaley Cuoco, who dished that she never actually got to work with Brand during filming.

"I worked with a beanbag [in his place]," Cuoco said. "An actual bean bag rabbit."

"I prefer the bean bag actually," she joked. "It didn't talk back. It didn't have issues in hair and makeup. It was my favorite costar I've ever had."
