Considering Justin Bieber seems to have taken over the world, would it surprise anyone to see him starring in an action movie?

Here's the deal...

The little guy could end up with a major role in with the G.I. Joe sequel. You see, the Hollywood Reporter recently reported that the director of his documentary Never Say Never, Jon M. Chu, is one of the leading candidates to direct the follow-up to 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra.

"Yes," Chu said when I asked him earlier today if he'd ever cast Bieber in the movie. "He'd have his hair back and he would be fighting and flipping around everywhere."

He kids. I don't think Channing Tatum has anything to worry about.

I caught up with Chu while he was promoting the director's cut of Never Say Never. You may have heard by now that NSN 2.0 (that's my nickname for it; not Chu's) includes 40 minutes of new footage.

Call me crazy, but it seems like there could be a feud brewing between Bieber and Jennifer Aniston. Not only did their new movies get released at the same time, but did ya happen to notice that they both made headline news also at the same time for cutting their famous locks? "There's definitely a hair battle in the making right now,"  Chu said.

Yeah, but whose hair is more famous?

"Jennifer's is a classic for sure," Chu said, choosing his words very carefully. "That's like my era. I think only time will tell with Justin. But right now, I think Justin's is superhot. It feels hotter than Jennifer Aniston's."

Even so, knowing how passionate Bieber fans can be, Aniston may wanna watch her Wikipedia page back.
