Lady Antebellum may be loving Glee's cover of their hit, "Need You Now," but that doesn't mean they're certified Gleeks.

"It was amazing," Hillary Scott told me of Lea Michele and Mark Salling's performance of Lady A's Grammy-winning tune. "After the Super Bowl? We couldn't have asked for a better slot. They performed it wonderfully. We could not be happier."

However...

Scott said it was the first episode she had ever seen of the Fox series. Same for her bandmates, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood. "I'm still sticking to my Jersey Shore, HGTV and Mad Men," Kelley said.

Heyward added, "I've got to learn the characters, learn the stories. I have no idea what is going on."

They found out "Need You Now" was going to be on the show about two weeks before it aired. "It's always cool to hear our songs with different voices on it," Kelley said. "It always gives me the biggest smile. I'm one of those people who like to go onto YouTube sometimes and watch covers.

"It's like the ultimate compliment," he continued. "I've been in cover bands my whole life so to see other people perform our songs, I've always dreamed of that."
