Fresh from the bloody waters of Piranha 3D, Elisabeth Shue is going back to babysitting.

I just got word that...

The Oscar-nominated actress has signed on to make a cameo in The Sitter, Jonah Hill's upcoming flick said to be inspired by Shue's classic '80s comedy Adventures in Babysitting.

Hill stars as a suspended college student who spends a crazy night babysitting kids who live next door to his mom.

Adventures in Babysitting, the first PG-13 film released by Disney, starred Shue as 17-year-old high schooler Chris Parker, who decides to babysit a teen boy and his younger sister after her boyfriend cancels their anniversary date.

No word yet on how Shue will pop up in the Hill flick, but don't expect her to be referred to as Chris Parker because the unofficial update is from Fox, not Disney. Directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express), The Sitter also stars Fringe and Conviction actress Ari Graynor and young newcomer Landry Bender as one of the kids.
