Post-Rehab Lindsay Lohan Dancing With the Stars?

Should the embattled starlet waltz from treatment to ABC's hit ballroom competition show?

Lindsay Lohan could be getting out of rehab any minute now.

If so, there's plenty of time for her to sign on for next season's Dancing With the Stars. But should she even consider it?

DWTS pro Mark Ballas said he wouldn't mind a twirl on the dancefloor with LiLo.

"I'm up for a challenge," Ballas told me at the Creative Arts Emmys.

Fellow hoofer Derek Hough seconds that. "If she did it, I'd be game," he said. "It's cool because you do see people turn their lives around on Dancing With the Stars. It keeps them fit. It's nice to see people a year later who started on the new health regime and have kept on track."

However, Hough warns that Lohan should only compete if she's focused. "You have to want to do the show," he said. "You should never come into the show having a manager or any agent or anybody telling you should do this. You need to want to do it. Those are the people who do the best, who want to be there and they're excited about it. They're not just there because somebody told them to do it."

As you may have read over at The Awful Truth, some of the so-called stars who have signed on or  are rumored to be close to making a Dancing deal include The Situation, Audrina Patridge, Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and her husband-to-be Roberto Martinez and footballer Troy Aikman.

Dancer Chelsie Hightower said she's continues to hear rumors about soccer stud Landon Donovan, David Hasselhoff and Jon Gosselin.

We've also been told by a source that Ryan O'Neal is still in talks with producers but he hasn't decided yet if he'll take the plunge.
