It's Liam's world—we just live in it.

I'm talking about Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's 3-year-old son. Little Liam has become an overnight Twitter sensation. Yes, he twitters. Sorta…

Spelling decided to start a Twitter page, LiamsWorld, to post some of her son's more memorable statements. Launched this weekend, Liam already has more than 17,000 followers.

"He doesn't completely realize what it is," Spelling just told me. "I said, 'You have a Twitter account.' He was like, 'What do you mean by that?' "

After she explained he had fans and "a lot of people who love him," Liam said, "Yeah, I'm a cool dude."

"I thought he would have 50 followers, but it's taken on a life of its own," Spelling said.

Yeah, but is the reality-television star at all nervous that LiamsWorld could end up coming back to embarrass him some day?

"I'm hoping he'll be self-deprecating like me and see the humor in everything that he said," she explained. "He's hilarious. He's really a funny, funny kid."

Meanwhile, McDermott remains pretty much bed-ridden after suffering multiple injuries in a dirt-bike accident about two weeks ago. "He was hoping to be up a little bit faster and running around," Spelling said. "But he's in pain. He's trying to do a walk a day."

Marc Malkin is on Twitter, too.
