Cindy Crawford Admits She's Scared of Plastic Surgery

Former supermodel explains she fears going under the knife and favors a more natural approach to aging

Don't count on Cindy Crawford to take the Joan Rivers approach to aging anytime soon.

The 44-year-old former supermodel and Ladies' Home Journal August cover girl recently told the mag that despite the downsides of getting older, she has no plans on nipping and tucking in the near future...

"I've tried Botox, but it scares me," Crawford confessed about dabbling in the anti-aging procedure. "Plastic surgery is really scary, but as long as you don't use these things to change your face, I think it's OK."

The gorgeous mother of two also opened up to the magazine about feeling sexy in spite of her age-related imperfections.

"If I put on a few pounds, it goes straight to my butt," she admits. "I'm sexy but I'm not intimidating. I do have cellulite."

However, Crawford has never been happier.

"So much of your life you spend trying to prove yourself, trying to make things happen, trying to get somewhere else," she adds. "But then you get in your late 30s and 40s and realize life is pretty amazing right in front of you if you can just be present in it."
