Julianne Hough Explains Her Mystery "Rug Burns"

Dancing With the Stars sexpot says, "I definitely had to use a lot of coverup,"

Who knew making Burlesque with Christina Aquilera and Cher would be so painful.

First, costar Kristen Bell told us how rehearsals left her inner thighs hurting in a big way and now Julianne Hough admits she walked away with some nasty bruising, too...

"I have this one number in there where I'm wrapped up in all these metal beads and I'm sliding down in them so I literally looked like I had rug burns all over my body," says Hough, who plays a dancer in a burlesque club owned by Cher's character. "It looked like I was a little bit of a hussy. Luckily it was just from the beads, but I definitely had to use a lot of coverup."

Hough said she ends up stripping down to barely nothing in the movie—but that's nothing new for her.

"I've got a bra and underwear on and that's as far as I'll go," she said. "But that's what you practically see on Dancing With the Stars, so it's not too far of a stretch from what I'm used to."

As for returning to DWTS next season, Hough said, "I don't know if I'm going to. If they ask me back, we'll see. It's their option."
