Will Dancing's Evan Lysacek Drop His Pants, Too?

Olympic gold medalist says of a pantless Jake Pavelka, "It was very brave of him and a very bold move"

Evan Lysacek and his Dancing With the Stars partner Anna Trebunskaya are a bit worried.

As of this morning, they didn't know what kind of dance they would be performing next week.

"Anna and I have to wait to see if we make it through today," Lysacek told me during our exclusive weekly chat. "We're a little nervous because, for some reason, everyone else has their dance for next week but we don't!"

There probably aren't too many DWTS followers out there who think the Olympic gold medalist will be going home tonight. So with the assumption they will be back, we can tell you one thing Mr. Lysacek won't be doing next week—or any week, for that matter...

What did you think of Jake [Pavelka] going pantsless last night? Maksim [Chmerkovskiy] said it was a desperate move. Would you ever do it?
I'm kind of shy. I don't think I'd ever be able to do that. It was very brave of him and a very bold move. But no, I don't think I can do that.

The judges seemed a bit nicer last night.
I don't know if it was nicer, but we're all taking their criticism and trying to improve every week. I think they could see we're all trying to work hard.

When you were dancing last night, did you think you were doing as well as the judges thought?
The rumba was a difficult number to train for because there has to be some vibe and energy for that romantic connection to be there. Anna and I are traveling so much. We're both exhausted so it's hard to find that energy. But once we got out there last night we were overwhelmed. We were in our moment. We somehow found that chemistry. It was very natural and not forced.

Kate Gosselin told Michael Yo here at the Daily 10 that she didn't expect to go this far in the competition. You surprised she's still around?
I'm not because she really is what the show is about. Kate has shown such steady improvement. To go from where she was in week one to where she is now—she's smiling and she's having fun.
