Katie Holmes: So She Thinks Tom Can Judge

Mary Murphy's mission to have Tom Cruise guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance is one major step closer to becoming a reality.
I just spoke to Katie Holmes backstage at the Dizzy Feet Foundation gala at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. She definitely approves of her hubby taking a seat beside Murphy, Adam Shankman and Nigel Lythgoe...
"He would be great," Holmes said. "He really would."
Back in September, Murphy gushed to me about Cruise: "He goes way back to Risky Business doing his thing. He was on the hot-tamale train back then...That hot tamale can come by anytime."
However, Holmes isn't ready to commit to another one of her performances on SYTYCD.
"I don't know," she said when I asked if she's planning on a return engagement. "I don't know, but it was a great time."
No word yet if Murphy had the chance to talk to Holmes about Cruise at the Dizzy Feet gala. "I'm going to try," Murphy told me on the red carpet. "If I can just slide my way in there, I will."
Going almost unnoticed in the audience were Holmes' daughter Suri, along with stepkids Connor and Isabella.
