It has been far too long since we've seen Zac Efron's adorable mug on the cover of a magazine.

And while the poses in Nylon Guys aren't exactly his most original—we've seen the High School Musical hottie's plaid shirts and downward glances plenty of times—they are an adorable way to start your Friday nonetheless.

Still, now that he's promoting a grown-up movie with Me and Orson Welles, he's subtly dissing the fluffy flicks that catapulted him into our hearts.

"It's the first time I've ever watched a movie [that I'm in] and in the end, I'm like, 'OK, I didn't check my watch once,' " he tells the "not for girls" mag (as if putting Zac on the cover is going to dissuade us).

He also blames our supposedly bad taste in music on celebrity albums, which is ironic given that Ashley Tisdale and his GF, Vanessa Hudgens, could be accused of releasing such musical monstrosities.

"If anyone asked themselves [if celebrity albums are necessary], then we wouldn't have the crap we are listening to today," he says.

Zac also claims he's not that into seeing his face on lunchboxes and that his parents found his singing "annoying" growing up.

Seriously, though, he's so cute—does it even matter what he says?
