Zachary Quinto: Gunning for Some Laughs
Zachary Quinto gives a whole new meaning to the ol' pickup line, "Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"
In a new Funny or Die video, Hostage: A Love Story, the Heroes and Star Trek star plays a pistol-packing burglar who ends up falling in love with a woman (Rachael Harris) he takes captive during a botched robbery.
As we first reported, Quinto had a real-life run-in with police when he was shooting the short at L.A.'s Kiss My Bundt Bakery...
"When someone saw Zach hold up a real gun and scream, 'This is a goddamn holdup!' they called the police," Bundt owner Chrysta Wilson told us.
But was Hostage worth all that drama? While we love us some Quinto, the cuss-filled vid just isn't as laugh-worthy as we had hoped. Watching the actor try to solve some erectile dysfunction issues while holding a gun to a gal's head left us, well, limp. (Watch the entire—and uncensored NSFW—version here.)
