Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard Keep Their Distance
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have moved in together, but you wouldn't know it by the way they acted last night!
Kristen was hosting a Maxim party for Assassin's Creed II at Voyeur but walked the red carpet without her funnyman.
Could it be because Dax has no game? "He doesn't play video games," Kristen told E! News. "He doesn't have the motor skills!"
Even inside the bash her beau kept his distance.
"They were on opposite ends of the room," a partyer says, noting Kristen's man also refused to take any photos with her. Some boyfriend!
Also rolling without his significant other at the soirée was Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy...

Nicole Richie was too sick to attend her own party, but the House of Harlow launch at Bebe in Beverly Hills went on without her.
The fashionista has some kind of flu but was feeling well enough to update her Twitter about how she ordered takeout tonight. Hope the delivery man doesn't catch her bug!
Across town at the Shine on Sierra Leone party at Playhouse, Lindsay Lohan and Lamar Odom were on the tip sheet, but an hour into the party there were still no celebs. So if the stars weren't going to be there, then neither was I.
Over at the Puma bash on Wilshire, Jessica Stroup was walking through the back parking lot by herself. Edward Norton made a low-key entrance with a guy and a girl. Word is he tried getting his Fight Club costar Brad Pitt to attend, but no such luck. Hey, if we had Angie at home, it'd be hard to make us leave the house, too.
Plus, this party has Porta-Potties for celebs and plebes alike. Thumbs down.

Kristen Bell is in a lot of pain these days.
"I've started dance rehearsals and my neck is sore and my inner thighs are so sore," Bell told me at last night's Vanity Fair-hosted launch of Guess?'s new T-shirt benefiting Invisible Children.
No, the actress is not training for a stint on Dancing With the Stars. She's getting ready to start shooting Burlesque, director Steve Antin's upcoming drama in which she and Christina Aguilera costar as rivals at a Hollywood burlesque club owned by a former dancer played by Cher.
Rounding out the cast is Twilight stud Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough and Stanley Tucci.
So just how much skin will Bell and the other young starlets be flashing in the film? Sounds like a lot, but...

Turns out Kristen is going to be canoodling with Party Down's leading man, Adam Scott, which begs the question: What about his first-season flame Casey, aka Lizzy Caplan of True Blood? And does this mean Kristen is sticking around for good?

Julianne Hough is Burlseque-ing with the stars..
The country-music-singing former Dancing With the Stars pro has joined the cast of Burlesque, a musical about a young small-town singer (Christina Aguilera in her big-screen debut) who becomes a star at a Hollywood burlesque club owned by Tess (Cher).
I'm told Hough, who began rehearsals this weekend, will play a fellow dancer.
Sources insist this is no Showgirls redux…

She solves crimes, she dons bikinis, she pisses off Christina Aguilera—is there nothing the suddenly omnipresent Kristen Bell can't do?
The former Veronica Mars will do battle with the ex-Mouseketeer in the musical-drama Burlesque. (No offense to Bell, but we're guessing the competition may be more dancing than singing based, because, well...because it's Christina freaking Aguilera we're talking about.)
Per the Hollywood Reporter, the film follows small-town, big-voiced Aguilera (in her big-screen debut) as she becomes the star attraction in a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club. Accordingly, the club's previous golden girl begins to spiral out of control.
The movie—directed by Steve Antin, who as brother of Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin knows of what he helms—already boasts an intriguing band of players, with Cher playing the nightclub owner and Stanley Tucci as the man behind Aguilera's country-to-city mouse transformation.
Production begins next month, with the film due out next Thanksgiving.

Only minutes before showtime, staffers backstage at Miss Sixty were in crisis mode—Mischa Barton's dress was see-through.
Indeed, the O.C. starlet had arrived at the Fashion Week tents in Bryant Park wearing a thin, black frock that photographers' flashbulbs would render transparent. Men and women working for the label immediately began scrambling to find something by the designer to drape over Barton, even taking clothes off their own backs and offering them to her.
"She's a royal pain in the ass," one staffer complained to another. "We sent all these clothes over and she ends up wearing nothing!"
