Springtime Comes Early for Kardashian
You've got to be quick to keep up with the Kardashians. Khloe Kardashian's brief yet slightly eventful incarceration has come to a close.
While originally sentenced to 30 days behind bars for violating probation on a DUI charge, the reality star, like so many before her, has been released early from Lynwood's Century Regional Detention Center after serving just a few hours.
Kardashian was released at 1:29 p.m., bringing her total time in custody to four hours and 37 minutes.

Khloe Kardashian Surrenders for Jail
Keeping up with the Kardashians now requires a visitor's pass.
Following a brief hearing today at Los Angeles Superior Court, Khloe Kardashian was taken into custody at 8:45 a.m. and booked seven minutes later, ostensibly to serve a 30-day jail sentence for violating her probation on a DUI charge.
The entire Kardashian clan, including sisters Kim and Kourtney and mother Kris Jenner, was on hand for support.
"You never want this to happen to your child," a choked-up Jenner told E! News.
Kardashian Sister Headed to Jail
The Kardashians can keep a low profile if they really want to.
Khloe Kardashian, Kim's 24-year-old little sis, is headed to jail this week to start serving a 30-day sentence for probation violation stemming from a DUI charge she notched back in March 2007, E! News has confirmed.
"Khloe is ready and willing to serve out her sentence, no matter how long and where, and have this resolved," her rep, Jeff Raymond, said in a statement Monday.
The scenester and clothing boutique co-owner was sentenced Aug. 27 to 36 months' probation and community service with the California Department of Transportation, as well as ordered to complete an alcohol-education program, after pleading no contest to driving under the influence on March 4, 2007, according to Los Angeles City Attorney's Office spokesman Frank Mateljan.
A-List Secrets: Catch a Star in Their Own Store
Was thinking about celeb-owned businesses, like the Kardashians' boutique in Calabasas, Calif. How much of a chance is there that a celeb owner is on hand when you drop by?

During the two weeks a month or so that they're in town, the Kardashian girls are "in and out of the store all day long," according to Kris Jenner. Kind of like the female Flying Zucchini Brothers of fashion, I guess. Good luck with that.
Your odds increase greatly in the case of Belle Gray, a boutique run by both Lisa Rinna and her fabulously pneumatic lips.
Here's why:
Kardashian Clan Ordered to Court
The family that shops together swears to tell the truth together.
A judge set a Feb. 17, 2009, trial date in the lawsuit brought by Sonja Norwood, mother of R&B star Brandy, against sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and their brother Robert Jr.
She has accused the well-to-do sibs of racking up more than $120,000 in unauthorized charges on her credit card in 2006 and 2007, when Kim was working as Brandy's stylist and dating the singer's brother Ray J.
The Kardashians have denied, "generally and specifically," every allegation in Norwood's suit, saying they had the woman's permission to shop spree-style. Norwood is seeking complete compensation for the charges, plus 10 percent interest.
A final status conference has also been set for Feb. 11. After that...it's trial time.
Keeping Up With the Faux-dashians
A fake-acting Kardashian? Perish the thought.
Kim Kardashian has put the kibosh on reports that she hosted a party in a Houston nightclub over the weekend, calling out the hostess as an impostor and vowing legal action.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star first addressed the situation on her website, writing that she was "angry and disappointed to hear that people are going around a Houston, Texas, nightclub pretending to be me," she continued her tour of rage on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show this morning.
"Isn't that crazy? I guess this one promoter's going around, getting the money from the club—you know, whatever an appearance fee would be...whatever he's made up, signing my name on a fake contract, or a real contract—and bringing a look-alike of me..."
And while imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, this instance, at least, is, per Kardashian, less than flattering.
Bombshell Kim Drops, and Undrops, a Bombshell
Sure he's fast, but NFL star Reggie Bush had a little trouble keeping up with girlfriend (and Keeping Up With the Kardashians star) Kim Kardashian's sense of humor in an interview with People. Asked about a ring she was wearing, Kardashian told the mag, "I'm about two months' pregnant right now and we're getting married on Aug. 8 of 2008."
People noted that Bush appeared stricken until she added, "It's a joke."
Good one, Kim. Giving Reggie a heart attack is perfect cardio preparation for NFL training camp, which is just about to begin.
Can Kim, Heidi or Oprah Really Sway the Election?
So Kim Kardashian has endorsed Barack Obama, and Heidi Montag likes John McCain. Can either woman actually influence an election?
—Clara, Los Angeles
It's possible, say strategists. Hard-partying reality stars may actually hold the future of the free world in their hands. But only under very limited circumstances. Before Heidi could score votes for John McCain, she would first have to prove that she can spell McCain.
"The celebrity endorsement card has to be played very carefully," says Robin Bronk, whose Creative Coalition helps celebrities get involved in the political process—under these conditions:

Kim Kardashian's Dinner with Barack Obama?!
Barack Obama just scored another Hollywood endorsement.
E! reality star Kim Kardashian is backing the Illinois senator in his bid for the White House. She revealed her support last night at the launch party for ex-jailbird Joe Francis’ Girls Gone Wild magazine at Area nightclub in L.A.
“I had dinner with him [Obama] once, and he just seemed very firm about the change, and that’s, like, his motto,” Kardashian said, referring to the slogan "Change We Can Believe In."
Wait a second! Obama and Kardashian had dinner together?
Spring Showers: Jessica Alba's Shout-Out to the 909
Everybody knows Jessica Alba is in a family way. After all, she had a Hollywood baby shower two weeks ago with famous pals like Rashida Jones, Jamie King and Kim Kardashian. But Jess held a second baby shower this weekend to celebrate her family values—not just celebrities.
“The first one was thrown by her friends, but her mom wanted to throw something more intimate for the family,” a source tells E! exclusively. “She is from Pomona, so this is for her family in 909.”
Guests were encouraged to bring their “favorite childhood book to start Jessica and Cash’s baby library.” And the progrowth policy didn't stop there.
The shower invitations were printed on composted paper filled with wildflower seeds, so guests can plant their cards in the ground and “participate in the celebration of life.”
Bloomin' cool!
