Poor Kanye. Everyone's on Team Taylor

Taylor Swift's fans aren't the only people outraged by Kanye West's outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The celebrities are backing the starry-eyed teenage titan as well.

"I feel really bad for Taylor Swift. I think it was really disrespectful," Kristin Cavallari told E! News in the press room.

"Dear Kanye, What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough??" Swift's fellow Best Female Artist nominee, Kelly Clarksonblogged immediately after the event. "Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we're all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like s--t...I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and I was excited for her, so why can't you be?"

They weren't the only ones...

Paula Abdul: Diva Host With the Most

Paula Abdul, American Idol Michael Becker/FOX

Paula Abdul is done with judging amateur singing competitions. She's on to much bigger and better—and very, very different—things. Like hosting professional singing concerts.

The irreplaceable (though oh how they've tried) American Idol judge has signed on to emcee the VH1 Divas special Sept. 17, the image-rocked cable net's first foray back into the girl-powered concert waters since 2004.

"Hi guys! im really excited 2 announce ill b hosting this year's 'Vh1 Divas'!" Abdul tweeted yesterday. "I am so excited!!"

And for all those who balked at the previously assembled lineup of vocal virtuosos, they may wish they hadn't cast aspersions on the diva posse until, well, now.

More Paula Replacements: A JoBro and the Original American Idol

Kelly Clarkson, Joe Jonas Steve Granitz/Getty Images; Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images

Who knows if American Idol is going to suck without Paula Abdul next season, but her empty chair will be getting quite the workout regardless.

The original Idol, season-one winner Kelly Clarkson, and teen dream Joe Jonas are the latest hitmakers who will be pulling guest-judge duty on the Fox series' upcoming ninth season, the L.A. Times' Showtracker blog reported Tuesday.

Like Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige and, most recently, Shania Twain, the pop stars have signed on to critique a set of wannabes during one of the audition rounds.

(Not really sure how any "Burnin' Up" fan is going to make it through her/his solo in front of the arguably hottest JoBro, but maybe we'll be lucky enough to be privy to some innocent, nonfatal hyperventilating.)

Clarkson last graced the Idol stage as a performer in March, while Joe and his fellow Jonas Brothers performed on the season-seven finale, before the coronation of David Cook.

Well, we know that both judges can sing. The only question is, do we care what they think?

Doesn't Kelly Clarkson look hot in the video for "Already Gone"?

Kelly Clarkson's "Personal Best" Means Photoshop

Kelly Clarkson, Self Magazine, Cover Scope Features, PacificCoastNews.com; Self

This Kelly Clarkson Self cover has turned into some kind of big deal. The magazine apparently Photoshopped the wrong girl, so everyone called the editors out on it.

Editor-in-chief Lucy Danziger initially responded to the Photoshop criticisms with, "Yes, of course we do postproduction corrections on our images...Kelly Clarkson exudes confidence and is a great role model for women of all sizes and stages of their life."

Then, not satisfied with only sounding like a minor hypocrite, Danziger decided to blog, where she actually wrote this nonsense:

Battle Rages Over Kelly Clarkson's Beyoncé Rip-Off

It's not just the songs that are getting played.

If, when Kelly Clarkson's "Already Gone" was released this month, you thought the melody sounded a bit—how should we put this?—familiar, you weren't the only one.

The original American Idol champ is engaged in a public battle with her frequent collaborator, OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, blaming him for what many discerning fans have long suspected: using the same music as Beyoncé's "Halo," which he also worked on.

Kelly Clarkson's New Video All About the Pretty

In a perfect world, Kelly Clarkson would always be this magical.

Not only does she look the best we've seen her in ages in every frame of her new video for the Beyoncé-sounding "Already Gone," but she has special powers…or at least the fanciest wand on this side of Hogsmeade.

By the time we see the crooner in a formal black gown, she's clutching a single white calla lily. Suddenly, things get whimsical. Pearl necklaces float, champagne glasses get overturned and string instruments play themselves in midair.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like those cosmic forces affect her any—she's still stuck sleeping on the couch and singing on the ground by the piano.

Perhaps that's what she gets for leaving her shoes in the middle of a staircase where someone might trip.

Kelly doesn't always look this good, as evidenced by her frightful getup two weeks ago.

Kris Allen & Adam Lambert Talk "No Boundaries"

More from Marc Malkin

Cutting Kara DioGuardi's "No Boundaries" from the American Idol tour was a no-brainer for Kris Allen.

"Taking that out is kind of helping my set a little bit," Allen explained to us this morning as he and Adam Lambert picked up their new Ford vehicles at Galpin Ford just outside of Los Angeles. "It gave it a little bit more energy…It just felt like a better fit to put something else in."

Critics and fans have pretty much trashed "No Boundaries," which DioGuardi cowrote, ever since it debuted as the American Idol victory song during the finale in May. Allen has replaced it with The Killers' "All These Things That I've Done."

"Everyone knows that song," Lambert said. "It's really great."

Our favorite singing bromancers also talked about which Idol alums they'd like to work with...

Hey, guys! I'm so glad y'all made it out to see me in NYC, just gonna stop in here and chat with David Letterman real quick! Do you guys like my costume? I'm really into it. It's like the new-new Kelly Clarkson: a forest gypsy lady meets a frumpy housewife type of look. You know the style—all sorts of unnecessary layers!

Anyways, I am a little worried about my jeans, you know? It's like they're sooo flared out that it looks like I have elephant feet.

Do you think my highway patrol sunglasses will be enough to distract Dave? OK! Thanks for coming, you guys! See ya at the county fair next week, right? I hope they give us free drink tickets.

Kelly Clarkson may have a thing for Edward Cullen, but that certainly doesn't guarantee her a spot on the New Moon soundtrack.

Recent Internet chatter claims that the unreleased Clarkson song "Did You?" will likely be featured in the Twilight sequel.

However, a rep for movie studio Summit Entertainment is singing a different tune…
