Will the Twilight Kids Have "Real" Acting Careers?

Do you think the New Moon kids are actually going to have careers after all the Twilight drama dies down? Or be taken seriously?

Well, because E! Online readers just love reading about how actors are jealous of other actors, or sleeping with other actors, or making little baby actors with other actors, let's do this right.
Let's put this in terms of other actors. Like who among the Twilight stars is really the next Matt Damon, who's the next Drew Barrymore and who's the next Keanu Reeves?
Behold a possible future for each New Mooner...
Dishy Rob Pattinson: Kristen Stewart Cooks a "Mean Spam"
We've got tons of dish for you from the entire New Moon cast and premiere, but let's get to the really good stuff first—Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
The two didn't snap pics together on the carpet, and no one could ask the two stars for any personal bites on each other. But we were able to squeeze some cuteness out of Rob.
Producer Bill Bannerman, by the by, told us Kristen was the Julia Child of the cast. So does Rob like her home cookin', too? And how did the two spend their day off in Madrid?
We've got all this, plus piles o' dish from the afterparty, so you'll def want to read on:
New Moon Party Turns Into Animal House
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner may be the big stars of New Moon, but it was a couple of hairy beasts who almost stole the spotlight at last night's premiere party at L.A.'s Hammer Museum.
Outside of the Volturi-inspired bash, under a tent designed to look like a forest, were two—ready for this?—real-life timberwolves. They were kept at a safe distance from guests behind a fence.
Now, let's get back to Rob and Kristen...
Kellan Lutz OK With Not Being Robert Pattinson
Imagine for a minute somebody else other than Robert Pattinson playing Edward Cullen.
Yeah, neither can we.
But it could have been the case had Twilight saga costar Kellan Lutz followed through on repeated requests by the powers that be to audition for the role.
"I was doing [HBO's] Generation Kill and was sent the script in Africa," Kellan told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Monday morning. "I put it off, then finally read it and by the time I got back to L.A., they said, 'OK, are you ready to audition for Edward?'
"I said, 'I don't want to play Edward. He's too complex, too depressing for me.'"
When asked, however, if he might be interested in the part of Emmett, Kellan says he revisted the script, thought it was "one of those fun-loving characters that I like to play" and, well, we all know the rest.
But in hindsight, does he have any regrets?
Peter Facinelli Says Hand-Holding Pictures Prove Everything
We knew it!
When those photos of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart holding hands hit the Internet last night, we did a little victory dance. Seriously, it was about time.
We're not the only ones who felt that way. Costar Peter Facinelli was quick on the draw to twitter his reaction.
No, he didn't exactly share in our glory, nor did he congratulate them or wish them luck and future happiness. Nope. He made a joke, and a good one at that.
"Co-stars caught holding hands," he writes next to a linked image. "Guess this picture proves everything."
The photo, however, isn't the one of #Robsten. It's of #Pellan—himself plus Kellan Lutz—walking hand-in-hand through an airport. It's almost as romantic as that preplane snuggle.

How Weird Are All Those New Moon Vampire People?
So what was the most interesting or weirdest answer you heard at your New Moon press junket?
—MDuncan, via Twitter
You mean I have to pick just one? On Friday I sat through an entire afternoon of Cullens, Volturi and Wolf Pack members, not to mention at least one guy with an English accent, leather jacket and stand-up hair.
I think any answer about weird/interesting things said there deserves a Top Five list. At least.
Here goes:
Kellan Lutz: More Excited by Eclipse Than New Moon
Sure, Kellan Lutz thinks New Moon is a "great" movie, but he's not afraid to admit he's more excited by Eclipse.
"Eclipse is a masculine movie," Lutz says. "I love it. All the stunts I was able to do by myself. It's an action movie!"
In fact, Lutz thinks the third installment will bring even more new fans to the franchise...
Caught! More Vampires Out in the Wild!
Kellan Lutz was spotted at the HBO Luxury Lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel Saturday. Lutz, who was sporting his Eclipse darker 'do (we so prefer him blond, you?), picked up a box of Camacho cigars, presumably for the rest of the Twilight boys.
While the ladies appear to be battling with quitting cigarettes (remember that was why Nikki Reed supposedly wasn't hanging with the Twilight girls since she's avidly "trying to quit"), the fellas up north seem to be enjoying the stogies. Kell said inhaling them on set is "our weekend thing." Yum, the thought of K.L. and Robert Pattinson power-puffin' on them is hot, no?
While picking up some swag Kellan ran into a familiar face...
Rob & Kristen's Romance Eclipses Kellan Lutz
Don't expect a threesome with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Kellan Lutz—or even just a lunch date—to happen anytime soon.
They don't hang.
"They're just so complex, and I like to laugh and smile," Twilight's Emmett Cullen told E! News at the W Hotel's lounge backstage at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week just before the Monarchy show.
As for everyone's favorite couple…
Kellan Lutz Pays AnnaLynne McCord a Private Visit
Although AnnaLynne McCord gave Kellan Lutz the kiss-off after he didn't buy her a birthday present, it looks like she's forgiven him.
The 90210 starlet spent Saturday at Wet Republic in Sin City with her sister Angel, and guess who was seen slipping into her VIP cabana?
Yep, Twilight hottie Kellan, trying to go incognito and failing...
Twilight Con-sense: Fan Fests Face Off
And you thought all this Twilight business couldn't possibly get more nauseating…
The romantic vampire film has already taken over San Diego Comic-Con (much to many Con regulars' disapproval) and spawned the fan-built TwiCon earlier this summer. Clearly, this was not enough gathering for all the Robert Pattinson fanggirls in the universe.
Summit Entertainment, which produces the movies, has teamed with event producers Creation Entertainment to put together official Twilight fan conventions. More than 20 of them.
That dippy little Dallas TwiCon just got steamrolled.
The official mega-meetups will include appearances by castmembers, panel discussions, footage screenings, theme parties, auctions, merchandising and more. You know, pretty much all the stuff that was at Comic-Con, only minus the occasional Megan Fox moment.
That sounds all well and good, but wait till you see all the excitement going down at the first one, taking place at the end of August in New Jersey.
