Another Baby for Tom and Katie?
Thu., May. 8, 2008 10:45 PM PDT
Do Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have a joint production in the works?
We don't mean the movie kind, either: We hear they want to have another a baby.
According to friends who schmoozed with the Cruises in New York earlier this week, Katie wants to have another baby soon, and she has been hinting as much to her husband.
"She said she's got the itch," said a friend close to the pair. "Now that Suri is more toddler than baby, she said she misses having an infant in the house. And, of course, she thinks Suri would make a great big sister."
And what does Tom think? Read on for what our source told us...

Happy Birthday, George Clooney!
Tue., May. 6, 2008 3:59 PM PDT
UPDATE: I’ve got more details for you from George Clooney’s birthday bash.
There were actually two birthday cakes made by cake and pastry company How Sweet It Is! One was for Clooney in the shape of Italy, where he owns a villa.
The other was for David Beckham, who turned 33 on Friday. The soccer star’s cake was in the shape of the United States.
I’m told John Mayer performed and Sarah Silverman even shocked some party guests when she spent some time working as Bungalow 8’s doorperson.

George Clooney turns 47 today, but the world’s most famous hunk started celebrating last night.
Giorgio Armani hosted a birthday bash for the Oscar winner after the Costume Institute Gala. It was invite-only, a source reports, for about 100 people at Amy Sacco’s legendary hot spot Bungalow 8. Clooney picked the venue, I'm told.
So just who made the VIP guest list?

Stars Come Out (on Tape) for Tom & Oprah, Part 2
Mon., May. 5, 2008 3:38 PM PDT
Oh, so that's why some people gave a flying fizz about Tom Cruise's opinion on postpartum depression. He used to just be the hot guy (with pretty decent acting chops) in the movies.
Day two of the star's sit-down with Oprah Winfrey—his first interview with the daytime queen since he flipped his lid for Katie Holmes—got down to business in honor of Cruise's 25th anniversary as a cinematic leading man.
With the down-to-earth, "real guy" stuff having been hashed out already at TomKat's Telluride, Colo., getaway last week, today's installment of The Oprah Winfrey Show featured taped kudos from Cruise's past costars (Renée Zellweger, Jamie Foxx, Dustin Hoffman, Dakota Fanning) and miscellaneous superstar pals (cuteness alert: Posh & Becks saw Jerry Maguire on the night of their first kiss, and their future neighbor later gave David Beckham his "you had me at hello" jacket—"and he hasn't taken it off since," Victoria said), as well as the star's own musings on a career well done.
Well, for the most part.
Some highlights:
The Cruises Take Manhattan
Mon., May. 5, 2008 7:43 AM PDT
If anyone can steal Tom Cruise's days of thunder, it's definitely daughter Suri.
With her new fashion-plate 'do, all eyes were on the little tyke as she was seen heading out of a New York City hotel with her famous folks over the weekend.
However, Tom will try to get the spotlight back this afternoon on Oprah Winfrey's show, when Miss O finishes the fawning she started last Friday.
But alas, you-know-who is expected to make an appearance where she'll invariably take the attention away—yet again—from her pop.
Especially if she starts jumping on the...well, you know.
Tom Returns to the Scene of the Crime
Fri., May. 2, 2008 5:36 PM PDT
Tom Cruise went back to where it all began Friday.
We could mockingly lead you astray for pages and pages as to what that means, but you all know: The microscopically examined movie star sat down next to Oprah Winfrey today for the first time since…yeah, that.
And except for the fact that Cruise is now the remarried father of a 2-year-old daughter—who does, in fact, partly resemble him—with a recent flop under his belt rather than a box-office topper, not a whole lot has changed.
Speaking from the sanctity of Cruise and Katie Holmes' Telluride, Colo., manse on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the actor's breakthrough role in Risky Business, Oprah asked her pal about "the couch" and his relationship with Katie Holmes, Scientology and his beliefs, Brooke Shields, Matt Lauer and making movies.
This time, of course, she also got to ask about that in-house sonogram machine, whether he believes in God, whether Suri is his and whether—knowing that hindsight is 20/20—he would now think twice about putting his feet (not to mention his heart and soul) on the furniture.
Suri's Sophisticated Tastes
Wed., Apr. 23, 2008 8:30 AM PDT
Details of Suri Cruise’s second-birthday party (April 18) will be revealed in People magazine's upcoming issue: a soundtrack that included Rihanna, bowling, dinner at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge, a performance of My Fair Lady at the Ahmanson and a four-tier birthday cake festooned with edible butterflies.
Either Suri is the most sophisticated toddler on the planet or a really short 30-year-old.
The mag also says that, despite rumors, TomKat are happy together. They got through a kid's birthday without having to endure a single song by the Wiggles—of course they’re happy.
Posh Celebrates in Style
Mon., Apr. 21, 2008 10:44 AM PDT
We so knew Victoria Beckham wasn't ringing in 34 years with just a low-key trip to Pink Taco with Becks and her boys. The hip eatery may be fun, but gourmet it ain't. And she's not nicknamed Posh for nothing, right?
Vicky had herself a swanky dinner party last night at Via Veneto, a Santa Monica Italian restaurant, that drew more A-listers than the Oscars. Besides her new bestie Kate Beckinsale, Posh's old BFF Katie Holmes made the invite list this time, along with hubby Tom Cruise.
Other power couples in attendance include Gwen and Gavin, Will and Jada, Diddy and Kim Porter, Usher and Tameka Foster as well as Elton John and David Furnish. Eva Longoria Parker and Heidi Klum left their men at home and came solo.
This party caps off several celebrations for Posh, whose actual birthday was April 17.
