For Sale! Brit's Mickey Mouse Memorabilia
Long before there was "Oops, I Did It Again" and her subsequent public meltdowns, little Britney Spears was a squeaky-clean castmember of the Mickey Mouse Club.
Now you can own a piece of that innocent history. Find out how!
Jessica Biel Doesn't Have Many Friends
Which may explain why she's turned to blogging.
Biel made her first foray into the blogosphere over the weekend at MySpace Celebrity, where she revealed she only had four, or possibly six, friends. (We hope she's not counting MySpace man Tom, because that guy says he's friends with everyone.)
Short on embarrassing personal revelations (aside from the dearth of pals), the posting mainly sticks to her dog, movies she has in the works and some charitable interests.
And nothing about Justin Timberlake.
But it's her first attempt. If she keeps at it, we bet she'll be oversharing in no time.
Justin & Jessica: Dogged By the Paparazzi
We don't blame Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel for looking annoyed. Even a simple stroll through West Hollywood today resulted in a flashbulb frenzy for this famous couple.
But how'd they train her pooch, Tina, to pull such a long face? Old dog. Neat trick.
Springtime Wedding for Joanna & Trace?
Here are some details for you on the recent engagement of Justin Timberlake's best friend and business partner, Trace Ayala, and Reba star Joanna Garcia.
A source reveals Ayala proposed in front of her family last Friday night in Chicago with a 3.5-carat cushion-cut white diamond ring surrounded by yellow diamonds.
The source also says they plan on marrying in the spring in Ayala's hometown of Memphis.
A rep for Garcia says, "I can only confirm the Friday part." The actress will next be seen in the new CW television series Surviving the Filthy Rich.
No word yet if they'll be dressed on their big day by Ayala and Timberlake's William Rast clothing line.
Beat Ben @ the Box Office: Who Likes Mike?
Mike Myers is more famous than he is bankable. Sure, Shrek movies make cash, and the second and third Austin Powers movies performed, but that's about it. Cat in the Hat barely took in $100 million—Horton Hears a Who did twice that—and so many others bombed. The first Austin Powers didn't even crack $10 million opening weekend.
So look for The Love Guru, opening with little or no buzz, to come in behind Steve Carell's Get Smart, at around $24.8 million.
Am I nuts? Can Justin Timberlake bring the kids to another ridiculous Myers incarnation? Put your numbers up in the comments, and we'll see who's the real box office guru.
Teens Choose Justin, Miley, Gossip
OMFG. Consider the Gossip Girl word sufficiently spread.
The CW hit received a leading—and whopping—14 nominations this morning for the Teen Choice 2008 Awards.
Chris Brown checked in with nine nods, Miley Cyrus (who will host the ceremony) scored four nods, and perpetual nominee Justin Timberlake racked up three.
Timberlake is the awards' winningest artist, having aggregated 21 surfboards—the event's laid-back hardware of choice—since 1999.
Justin Jockeys for More Well-Endowed Roles
Justin Timberlake may be new to the acting game, but he's already making huge, diva-like demands. See, he plays Jacques "Le Coq" Grande in The Love Guru—a hockey player with a large, ahem, stick—and now he tells E! News he's only interested in playing well-hung dudes from now on.
"Yeah, that will be a requirement," Timberlake tells us, at the Guru press day. "Maybe it's a she, and she still has a large penis. And it'll still be a requirement."
Wait, is he joking? Here's the thing...
Has Justin Ever Heard Jessica Sing?
Does Justin Timberlake know that his girlfriend, Jessica Biel, once tried to make it as a singer?
Sadly, however, Biel didn’t get far—at least not in college.
The sexy starlet was rejected for a spot with the Amalgamates, an a cappella group at Tufts University, according to GQ senior editor Mickey Rapkin’s new book, Pitch Perfect: A Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory.
Justin and Jessica Coming Out for MTV?
The guest list for MTV's 2008 Movie Awards keeps growing: Sarah Jessica Parker and Will Ferrell (among others) are joining previously confirmed presenters like Lindsay Lohan and Steve Carell.
But that's not all. Notoriously press-shy pair Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel may finally walk the red carpet together. Wouldn't that be fab?!
Get more details on the big guests who may show that night in my videoblog.
Justin Phones Home for MTV
Justin Timberlake is looking to be Bourne again as Ashton Kutcher.
The singer-actor-dancer is upgrading himself from triple to quadruple threat as producer of an MTV reality show.
The star turned up to the cable net's upfront presentation in New York today to announce production on The Phone, a series set to debut this fall that is being touted (by those involved, natch) as a "real-life Bourne Identity," albeit a completely Matt-Damon-less one.
And, from the sound of things, a completely Justin-Timberlake-less version as well, at least as far as onscreen eye candy is concerned.
Based on a Dutch reality series, the MTV version will hide two cell phones at opposite ends of a major U.S. metropolis. The phones will ring at exactly the same time, and whoever picks up will be given five seconds to agree to the terms of the game and then be sent on a series of city-traversing missions guided by a mysterious voice and followed by a helicopter.
Should they succeed, per the network, a "huge cash prize" awaits them.
But really, the announcement of an MTV show that Speidi can't infiltrate may be prize enough.
Madonna's Candy-Coated Surprise
Madonna humped Justin Timberlake.
And I got to see it. Timberlake was the surprise guest at Madge’s one-night only show at New York's Roseland Ballroom tonight, and the chemistry between the two was hot as they were humping, bumping and grinding through "4 Minutes."
Despite the fact that she's old enough to be his mother, they really do make beautiful music together.
She mostly stuck to songs off the new disc Hard Candy, but the evening—including a laser light show—had a totally '80s feel to it.
Madonna's tracksuit had that vintage look (even though it was new Dolce & Gabbana). The backup dancers were practically break-dancing. And J.T. reeled off some of his best Michael Jackson-inspired moves.
There were a couple of glitches. Read on for those.Jessica Biel: Master of Disguise
It seems this Stealth star can be a bit clandestine herself.
"Sometimes I use my friends [as decoys]," Jessica Biel playfully admitted during a call-in to The Bert Show on Atlanta's Q100 station, when asked about how she eludes the ever-present paparazzi.
"My friends and I perform stealth missions to get out of the house, but I can't say too much, or I'll blow all my secrets."
The 26-year-old actress also reveals that while she occasionally does resort to wearing a disguise to sneak out, the best way for her to spend some quality time with her man Justin Timberlake is to simply "stay home."
Makes you wonder what disguises she's throwing on for J.T.
